Self – financing Colleges under C.U. centralized admission)

The candidates sort listed for the admission to B.Ed course (2015-17), should

- report to the respective self-financed colleges according to their merit from 17-07-15
to 22-07-15.
- bring all their supportive original as well as xerox copies with the hard copy of the
application form along with two recent passport size colour photo.

- Those who are enlisted for Department of Education, C.U should report to the
office of the secretary, UCAC, Alipore campus C.U with above mentioned testimonials
as necessary.

Counselling of Deputed candidates will take place on 20th July, and fresher
candidates on 22nd July. (as per merit grade marks).

For deputed candidates, copy of M.C. resolution and D.I approval have to submit along
with appointment or joining letter.

For Fee structure for admission:-

For CU: - (Deputed and Fresher) = as per notification in the Dept. of Education.

For self- financed colleges= as per government order.

Notice for Self- financed Colleges

All self financed colleges are, hereby requested to submit the hard and soft copy of the
final list of selected candidates for the B.Ed course ( 2015-17) duly signed by
appropriate authority to the office of the Secretary (Acting), UCAC, Alipore Campus,
University of Calcutta.

For all candidates (Freshers & Deputed) who have applied 
for B.Ed. Courses in the Department of Education  
University of Calcutta for the Session 2015‐17 
 
The candidates are requested to attend the counseling as per the schedule published.  

They should report at the department of Education (3rd Floor) Alipore Campus, C.U. 
sharply at 11 am on the respective dates mentioned. No claim for admission will be 
entertained if a candidate fails to attend the Counseling at the proper date & time 
mentioned. 

They should bring : 

1) All their original documents for verification at the time of counseling. 
2) 2 (two) Recent Passport size photographs 
3) Age Proof 
4) Copy of M.C. Resolution and D.I. Approval if not submitted along with the 
application form (for Deputed Candidates only).  
5) The Hard Copy of Application Form . 

Fee Structure for Admission: 

Deputed Candidates – Rs.12,344/‐(per annum) 

Fresher Candidates –  Rs.1,544/‐  ( per annum) 

 
N.B.: If any seat remains vacant after completion of Counseling then the vacant seats will be filled up 
from the remaining candidates of the merit list. The next Counseling date/dates if required will be 
announced later in the C.U. web site. If any inadvertent error is detected after Counselling / 
Provisional Selection then his/her admission is liable to be cancelled.
