    Listening reflection

    1. Do you believe you are an effective listener? Why or why not? Use what you
    learned in Chapter 5 as evidence for your answer. 

    Answer: I try to be an effective listener but get distracted very easily and get to
    bored easily. I try my best to listen but it’s hard.

    2. How has listening and empathy played a positive or negative role in your
    relationships and interactions with others? How might you improve?

    When it comes to relationships, I honestly try my best to be positive the best I


    can, but when it comes to stressful situations, I will stay out of them.
