INTRODUCTION

The research study “ Customer responses on haldiram” is conducted in the


Nagpur region. In order to conduct the research study the responses from
people visiting haldiram are taken. The main objective behind the study were
the customer behaviour towards the quality, availability, price and other
aspects of various snacks brands ,to know the market share of this brands , and
to know customer preferences towards this snacks brand.
The present study is mainly based on primary data , but both primary and
secondary sources of data are used for the purpose of the study. Here the
simple random methods are applied to collect the data. In order to analyse the
data researcher has used the mathematical tool such as simple percentage
method
In this research study the researcher has found out that market share of
haldiram snacks is maximum in NAGPUR in comparision to other brands. It is
due to taste of snacks is heavenly good and is affordable. In order to increase
the sale in this particular region various companies of snacks have think upon
the taste, price and packaging of the products. The quality of the product
matters more in case of the eatable products so the various companies of
snacks should pay attention to the quality of food. If we talk about the
packaging then the packaging of the products should be attractive to the
customer.
CUSTOMER BEHAVIOUR is the “ The study of individuals , groups and
organization and the process they use to select, secure, use and dispose of the
products , services , experiences or ideas to satisfy needs and impacts of these
processes have on the customer and the society.” Inthis we will study the
defined structure of individuals taste as measured by the utility, of various
bundles of goods. They permit the customer to rank these bundles of goods
according to the level of utility they gave to customer.
CUSTOMER PREFERENCES:
The underlying foundation od demand therefore is a model of how consumers
behave. The individual customer has a set of preferences and values whose
determination is outside the development of economy. Customer needs are
the all basis of modern marketing. The key to the companies survival.

Marketers do not create need though in some instances they make customer
