"VAW-Free Community starts with me”

This advocacy is the key of freedom of women victims; I want violence

against women to end. The theme “VAW-free community starts with
ME”, which theme used in years up to now to guarantee that we
women are free form of violence against to all women and it continues
to implement policies that ensure the protection of women’s rights and
to give emphasis on everyone’s commitment and contributions in
ending VAW and to continue pursuit on common vision of a VAW-free
community. This year’s campaign continues to underscore the
significant role of youth in fighting violence against women’s. It focuses
prevention to fewer incidents of VAW in our country which can be
achieved by empowering individuals to know and claim their rights, and
to educate them where to seek help in cases of violence.

One of our country’s perennial problems is violating human rights. The

realities that contain in our society nowadays are evident and
perpetuate it rooted in gender inequality and discrimination that violates
the life of women to live free from any violence. Violence doesn’t have
a race; by this theme we notice different acts and schemes contributed
by government and individuals to empower women which women folks
who are being violated and became weaker made to be stronger.
Violence against women needs to be prevented this kind of cruelty
terminates the development of our society stops from showing the
ability and power to change the world and blocks women from giving
and enhancing their best to perform great in our community and to
their families. If this violence didn’t stop we will not be able to live in a
peaceful world we are aiming for and no woman has to be a victim of
violence. Starts with believing survivors, adopting comprehensive and
inclusive approaches that tackle the root causes, transform harmful
social norms, empower women, implementing laws that promote
gender equality, investing in women’s organizations and addressing
the multiple forms of discrimination women face daily. Violence against
women both violates and impairs or nullifies the enjoyment by women
of their human rights. Provide women who are subjected to violence
with access to the mechanisms of justice and effective remedies for the
harm they have suffered.

As a man I want to encourage the generations and all women as well

to learn about where to get help and don’t be scared to use our own
voices for opinions and power because one day it might change the
system and get the peace and justice that women deserve. An
alarming theme that should not be ignored and must have education
among women knowing the essence of empowerment to have a better
grasp of the realities of violence and its impact to those victims in
general. I believe that no one in nation can move forward if us/a
woman are trapped in the cycle of violence but having a unity that
starts from us, by the power of youth can attain our goal which we are
be able to fight the violence against women. Encouraging generation
to fight with us and promotes positive qualities and awareness on VAW
and other laws protecting all women. To raise awareness, this year's
theme represents a brighter future free of violence against women and
girls. Violence against women continues to be an obstacle to achieving
equality, development, peace as well as to the fulfillment of women and
girls’ human rights. All in all, the leave no one behind - cannot be
fulfilled without putting an end to violence against women and girls. We
must speak out against all forms of violence. This vision can only be
realized through meaningful actions and ongoing political commitments
of national governments, backed by adequate resources.
