Objective:

At the end of the exercise, the students should be able to:

▪ modif y permission settings f or f iles and directories.

Software Requirements:

▪ VirtualBox f or Windows
▪ Ubuntu ISO

Procedure:

1. Create a f older named LastName_FirstName (ex. Reyes_Ranika) in Ubuntu and in Windows.

2. Within your Linux f older, create the same f older structure that is shown in the f igure below.

3. Set the permission of each f older and f ile based on the table below.
