Condition for Participation

Proof of membership by valid national Federation passport with WTE/WT membership. All
contestants have to proof their age and nationality by presenting their passport or identification
card at weigh-in.

All Participants must be Holder of a valid 2020 WT Global License. Contact your MNA responsible for
questions about this WT
license. Onsite registration for WT license is not possible. WT ranking points can only be awarded to
those athletes with a valid WT license.

Those who are not recognized as adults by law in their own country must submit a passport or
identification card together with a written consent (liability declaration) of their parents or lawful
guardian accepting the participation and all parts of the official invitation.

Visa In
order to give support to get the visas it is necessary to send a correct written application letter to the
Austrian Taekwondo Federation, with the names, age and passport-No. of all team members,
competitors and officials (if possible, please send a word file as e-mail attachment). We will send an
invitation letter by air mail to the team and to the Austrian Embassy in your home country.
Please give the visa process in the embassies at least two weeks for handling all applications.

Cadets: born in 2006, 2007, 2008


Juniors: born in 2003, 2004, 2005
Seniors: born in 2003 or before

Entry Fee

€ 100,00 for each contestant via bank transfer. Entry Fee must be transferred to the account below until
the deadline by 18th of May 2020 without any costs for the organizer.

€ 150,00 for each contestant if paid in cash at the registration.

If the athlete registered online (https://worldtkd.simplycompete.com) does not take part in the
competition for some reason, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before
the deadline (18.05.2020), his/her team official must fully (100%) pay his/her entry fee for
participation. Entry fee is not refundable at any time after the deadline!
You have to enclose a copy from the transfer with the application. Entry
fees must be paid on the account following below.

NOTE: All payments by bank transfer have to be done without any deduction of expenses!

Qualification
Juniors male/female from 2. Kup
Cadets male/female from 2. Kup
Seniors male/female from 1. Dan

All Participants (Athletes and Officials) require a WT Global Licence and must be member of a
National Taekwondo Federation.
This membership must be proved during registration by providing a valid WT Global licence.

Anti Doping
Agency (NADA), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the World Taekwondo Federation (WT).
The competitor accepts with the application the anti-doping rules of the National Anti-Doping

Coaches
For every four contestants within the same team, one coach is granted free a dmission, with a
maximum of four coaches. Coaches can enter the competition area only with proper sport shoes
and proper tracksuit. Before weigh-in all coaches must have the Special ID-Cards for their teams.
Weigh-in and entry to the sports hall only with Special ID-Cards. Special ID-Cards for all competitors
and coaches!

Liability
All competitors of the Austrian Open participate at their own risk. The registration application
implies that the contestants agree to assume all responsibility for themselves and to release all
others from all and any liability which may directly or indirectly result from the Austrian Open

Equipment

WT-recognized PSS + E-helmet shall be provided for all competition areas and all weight divisions (cadet, junior
and senior). Only WTF-recognized Equipment Cadets, Juniors and Seniors: WT-recognized PSS protector and
Head gear scoring systems.

groin/forearm/shin guards and gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestant. Mouth
piece is compulsory!

Recognized brands
Recognized brands Participating contestants are required to wear WT-recognized doboks and WT-
recognized protective equipment. The latest version of WT-recognized manufacturers’ list is available at
the website of WT: http://www.worldtaekwondofederation.net/recognized

Protest
Only the official coach is allowed to protest, immediately after the end of the contest.
An amount of € 100 (Euro) will have to be paid for each protest.
The decision of the referee chairman is final.

Referees
Without exception all referees will be contacted and invited by the Referee Committee.
Hotel and Full board accommodation will be provided forinternational referees from 29th until 01st
Classification
Places 1 to 3 will be scored for classification of teams and nations.
The key 6-3-1 will be used.

Award presentation
Medals for the places 1 to 3 individual results.
Trophies for the places 1 to 3 teams- and nations results.

Res ults
The contestants agree with the announcement, that the first and last name, the weight category,
the nation/organization and the placing in the list of results will be reported in the internet as well
as in printed media.

Each contestant has to pay 50 Euro for changing his weight division.
