- Role and position of the course:

The course is one of major courses, synthesizing and further studying on the previous
syllabuses such as International Commerce Transaction, Import-export Management,
which supply students’ knowledge relating to specialized foreign trade contracts,
documents in performing import/export contracts, business risk management and
coverage and customs clearance of import and export cargo. With the knowledge and
skills provided by the course, students have the basic foundation for practical work in
the field of import-export as well as knowledge for further study.

- Allocation of credit hours for activities:


+ Theory: 15 hours
+ Exercise, discussion in class: 30 hours
+ Self-study: 90 hours

- Previous courses: International Commerce Transactions

- Parallel courses: No
- Other requirements: Having knowledge of the above mentioned syllabuses.

2. COURSE OBJECTIVE
- Students master specialized foreign trade contracts, documents in performing
import/export contracts, business risk management and coverage and customs
clearance of import and export cargo.
- Students have the ability to apply the above knowledge to explain, analyze,
forecast issues related to professional drafting of specialized foreign trade
contracts, documents, risk management and customs clearance in each job and
solve common situations in international trade activities.
- There are creative application capacities of theoretical and practical
knowledge to deal with common specific business situations arising in
international business activities related to specialized foreign contracts,
documents, risk management in implementing contracts and customs
operations.
