MY
REFLECT
ION
1. In my observation educational technology advancement in our schools are not that
really advance compared to those of the industrialized first world countries. As I
observed it’s really clear that majority will notice the difference behind, one example for
that is the funds in schools. Although, our public schools here are funded or supported
by the government or political individuals well, still the sources given to schools was not
enough or don’t have the consistent sufficient fund within the demand of its population
for such areas. Actually, when we say first world countries it pertains to countries with
prepared school facilities and well-equip classrooms which are organized or ready for
new age technology & its applications. It’s really sad to realize that world will change
day-by-day technology can’t keep its phase because there’s a lot of changes. But, it’s
obvious that humans are actually the one who controlled technology. People can and
should really use advance technology for a good purpose because it helps the teachers,
students and the benefit of everybody. So, as future educators or teachers we should
not take this problems negatively because in fact we can do something on this matter.
Let’s go out of the box to learn to appreciate and use the resources efficiently imparted
and available to us. I know to myself that as a millennial future educator I can make the
learning to my future students to a more meaningful one through the use of tech/
applications where students will develop critical thinking, develop social ability,
experience in world web, technological strategies, etc.

2. For best use of computer resources you may notice that through the good behavior of a
student. To get away of the negative effect, students should be guided properly that is
why teachers are present as second the second mother. Reminding the students and
keeping them understand the advantages and disadvantages will give them the
awareness and view point. For example: not sharing or posting personal pictures
exposing to media that are beyond to application rules or even family rules; do not
share codes or passwords, never respond to threatening messages, text, or emails;
share tell parent or friends or trusted adults about hurtful or scary experiences or
conversations; Never trade personal pictures, do not spend too long on
computers/gadgets; do not answer calls from strangers, etc. Technology and internet
can actually provide a safe virtual environment for exploring some newfound freedom if
precautions are taken. An active role or guidance to students’ internet activities helps
ensure that they benefit from them without being exposed to such dangers.
