Modals: Must, have to, should,
Could

Los verbos modales son usados para indicar probabilidad, habilidad, permiso, solicitud,
capacidad, sugerencias, orden, obligación o consejo.

 Modal verbs are used to indicate probability, ability, permission, request, ability,
suggestions, order, obligation, or advice.

COULD.
We can use could and couldn’t to talk about abilities in the past.

I could swim when I was four.


I couldn’t ride a bike when I was three.

Remember!

We use ‘could’ and ‘couldn’t’ to talk about our abilities in the past.
