    Rehearsal Report #16 Date: April 5th, 2022


    Attendance: Kat, Abby, Adi, Paige, Jackson, Haley, Kailyn,
    5:45pm-8:17pm Abbey, Wyatt, Grace, Drew, Lucas, Marcos, Mike, Drew, Alex,
    Studio Theater Emilia
    Absent/Late:

    5:45pm- Warmups with Jackson and Haley Wednesday, April 6th
    6:00pm- Plan for rehearsal 5:45-8:45pm
    6:11pm- Begin blocking ensemble scene Mary Linn Auditorium
    6:49pm- Discuss all of the ominous ways for 11 Called: Act I & Act II
    people to walk on stage (decide on OHM) (Working specific moments, there may be
    7:00pm- Break significant downtime)
    7:13pm- Continue blocking/working ensemble
    scene
    8:40pm- Dismissed

    General Notes
    • Masks should be worn at all times during rehearsal
    • Please make sure you are doing your best to stay healthy and take the necessary precautions
    • Snacks are permitted in rehearsal during down time. If you are able, please step out of the
    room to eat, but make sure you are back before you are needed again. Please make sure to
    clean up all trash.

    Scenic/ Technical Direction
    • Kat and the performers are good with a bench (it doesn’t need a back); needs to be large
    enough for Zac and Mike to sit on at the same time
    Lighting
    • Pat: Please send the recording to Patrick
    • Kat/Pat: Will there be a blackout between Act I and Act II?
    • Beralde, Grace, Drew, and Wyatt end at DSC; Kat would like a special on them
    Sound
    • Pat: Please send recordings to Patrick
    Costumes
    • Kat/ Stephi: Kat has several costume questions to discuss
    • Will all of the doctors in the end have some sort of base layer/ something to look similar?
    • Stephi: Are you planning for Argan to get a hat and scholar’s robe on stage? (It does not need
    to happen)
    • Is Argan going to be wearing a dressing gown? (does he have any limitations on how he
    sits?)

    • Could we have a thermometer to start using in rehearsal?
    • Could the syringe be painted a more realistic color?
    • Could we have a rolled paper for Dr. Purgon’s deed of gift?
    • Could we have a law book for Bonnefoy to carry on in Act I?
    • Could some of the bills on the desk have Argan’s actual lines from the opening monologue?
    (see Paige if you have questions)
    • The large papers under the desk are fine- Could you please tea stain them to make them
    look older/dingier?
    Front of House
    • The assistant costume designer is Jenna DeLaRosa
    • Ellye Johnson has been added to wardrobe crew
    Stage Management

    • Furniture needs to be spiked
