1.

How does an individual from a social relationship of kinship with another

person?

Kinship may involve a relationship between two people unrelated

through lineage or marriage. If kinship involves only blood and marriage ties,
then kinship defines how family relationships form and how family members
interact with one another. But if kinship involves any number of social ties,
then kinship and its rules and norms regulates how people from specific
groups, or even entire communities, relate to each other in every aspect of
their lives.

2. Give two (2) examples of social institutions. Provide a brief explanation for
each.

1. Family - is a group of persons united by ties of marriage, blood or

adoption constituting a single household interacting and inter-
communicating with each other in their respective social roles of
husband and wife, father and mother, son and daughter, brother and
sister, creating a common culture.
2. Religion - is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and
world views that relate humanity to an order of existence.

3. How do you think these social institutions affect an individual in terms of

character and personality formation?

I think these social institutions are a big part of who we are and who
we aspire to be in the future. It affects the way we think, how we respond to
certain situations and determines how we will become and make an impact
in the society.

status and property.

5. How is the concept of political dynasty observed in the Philippine social

and political landscape?

Political dynasty has long been a trend here in the Philippines,

especially with the ruling class. These are families that have built their
reputation and name in a province or may sometimes be reflected in our
National government. The concept of having Political Dynasty that affects our
political landscape is that they tend to have a big influence on making it
harder for young, passionate leaders who actually wants to make a change in
the locality but they can't because they don't have a background that will be
enough to influence a locality.
