A. Motivation: Graphic Organizer. The student will write in a graphic organizer how they form a social
relationship or kinship with another person or a group.

B. Presentation: Essential Question – How do Filipinos trace their ancestry? Do the Filipinos have sole
yardstick in determining their lineage?

C. Discussions:
a. Kinship, Marriage and the household
b. Political and Leadership structures
c. Economic Institutions
d. Non-state institutions

f. Religion and Belief Systems

D. Deepening: The student will identify which among these documents ( birth certificate, diploma and
transcript of records, and passport ) they have secured already. They will narrate their experience in processing
these documents.
