Loop: Repeated sections
Sound Packs: Premade sound packs on BandLab
Tempo: The speed of the sound/music
Key: A set of sharps, flats or naturals that make up a scale.
Lesson Procedures
Lesson Introduction: (AKA warmup, bellwork…in other words, what will be done to review, preview, etc.)
I will provide the students with a brief introduction of project along with examples.

1. Students will be directed to open the app on either their laptop or tablet.
2. Once in the app, press the open studio button.
3. You should see a “Add Track” Button click that.
4. Click BandLab sounds and then press loops.
5. Explore the different types of loops available.
a. It would be wise to use loops in the same key and the same tempo. If you are wanting your voice you are able to mess with the pitch.
6. After you have explored the loops create your sound.
7. After their recording is completed, students are to download their project and submit the recording on the classroom page.
