How to operate the GPS device
A. Base operation.
1. Check for horizontal (by bubble).
2. Then press the power button,
3. find the height of the base by the measuring tape.
B. Controller operation
1. Press the power button.
2. Go to “job” window to create a new mission. Write the name of the zone
that you are working on, Chose the datum, units, area calculation method
3. Click on “edit” to add (points, codes, layers, linework, areas, point lists,
Raw data, back ground, surface, report)
• Setting out points.
a) Go to job window
b) Open job.
c) Chose the site
d) Go back to the main screen, and then click on connect,
chose the configuration name, click the base tab
e) Click on “connect” the base now is successfully connected.
f) Go back to the main screen, klick on “setup”, click on start
base.
g) Now select the point that the base is located on, the
controller will write down the coordinates from the
memory, and now you will write down the height that you
have measured. (you can find the location of the base “If it
is not recorded” by outobossition button).
h) click on “start base”. And then click on “rover connect” .
Now you can chose any point to set out and move the Rover to reach the point.
