SEMESTER I 2020/2021

ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS ON ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN SURVEY STUDY


PROJECT.
Instructions:
The social survey study via questionnaires distribution using google form or others method
available on topic cover traffic safety awareness, sustainability in transportation awareness. The
questionnaires can be referring to the existing/current research done by another researcher
available in Malaysia or students can setup the new questionnaire set.

1. Conduct a Safety Awareness on Road Safety Campaign Survey Study at your place area.

2. From the group distribution given elect a group Leader and an Assistant Leader. The group
Leader and Assistant Leader will set up an organising by given rules each of group members.
This set up must put inside the report. All teams must work together to make this Road Safety
Campaign Survey Study project success.

3. The Safety Awareness on Road Safety Campaign Survey Study Project must include:

a. Identify of survey area.


b. Set-up of questionnaire.
c. The total number of samples to be collected. (at least 100 respondent and show the
calculation)
d. The analysis that will be used. (descriptive statistical analysis i.e graph, chart, mean
score)
e. Theme of the study selected such as:
• Pedestrian
• Motorcyclist
• Private vehicle (car user)
• Public transport user -bus
• Public transport user -taxi
• Public transport user -rail
• E-hailing user

4. Each group must submit the following:

a. A Report (in English) detailing your group’s involvement in the road safety survey study
project from the planning stage up to the end of the project. Include photographs and
materials used when conducting the project. The report should include these:
• Introduction
• Objective
• Survey area
• Methodology (Questionnaire, Sample size, Tool Analysis)
• Data Analysis
• Discussions
• Conclusion
• References – must include act, guidelines, books, journals, and must not less than
20 references.

5. Present your proposal using video Presentation (i.e PowerPoint, KineMaster, PowToon,
Screencast-o-Matic, etc). The presentation must be not more than 15 minutes.

Assessment: 20 marks
