About Amiri Medical Complex (AMC):

Amiri Medical Complex is a private hospital incorporated with the government of Afghanistan under the
private hospital’s ordinance 2015. The facility is located in the Afshar, Qargha road in a green and calm
environment suitable for healthcare facilities. It has an authorized capital 15million dollars (USD).
Revenues have been on a steep rise and equipment and services have been added and upgraded as a
regular routine. The hospital has generated employment for almost 400 persons with about 35% female
participation who are busy round the clock to facilitate the functioning of the hospital with a dedication
that is the distinction of AMC.
Main purpose behind the establishment of the hospital is to facilitate our country mates those who
were going out of the country even for very minor procedures. Make available a self-contained facility
for patients that can cover the comprehensive needs of high-quality healthcare under one roof. Experts

Job Description:

Responsible for the financial and management reporting processes, ensuring the availability of timely
and relevant financial information.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial statements/reports to the owners.

Prudently manage funds for the organization meeting budget requirements and safeguarding financial
resources in the most efficient and economic manner.

Supervise the finance relevant issues which rise in or within Finance Department

Establish and implement financial procedures to ensure uniformity in the existing accounting system.
Monitor the implementation of the financial manual and hospital software.

Ensure software upgrades are completed and recommendations are made on an ongoing basis to
improve the system and process efficiency.

Support further development of capacity and procedures for accounting in the operational areas.

Confer advice, initiate and coordinate with other departments to ensure full compliance with policies
and procedures.

Identify compliance with systems and analyze causes of uneconomic and inefficient practices in assigned
areas of responsibility(s).

Manage follow-up of audit findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of corrections.

Review and approve expenditure statements prepared by accounts department.

Ensure backup of all data maintained on the QuickBooks system, and all financial reports at month-end.

Manage overall finance department daily activities, including mentoring and skills development for all
finance department staff.

Perform weekly, monthly, and spot cash counts with Cashier & Accountant.

Attend finance and administrative meetings with staff and other agencies.
Job Requirements:

MBA-Finance, ACCA is preferred.

At Least 5-7 Years Professional Experience

Proficient in Quick Books accounting software & in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

In depth knowledge of financial regulations, Tax and account processes

Fluent in English, Dari and Pashto, both written and verbal.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Pashto and Dari

Great attention to detail with all work products, output, and communication

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Ability to supervise and direct
