to hit the ground running as soon as they are given a chance to recruit IT professionals.
To date, we’ve trained over 30,000 IT and HR professionals online.
Our founder, Michal Juhas, is the international Tech Recruitment Expert who published
several eBooks on the subject of recruitment. His mind maps are very popular among IT
consultants as well as HR professionals around the globe.

ABOUT THE ROLE


You are about to join a world-class recruitment team working for international clients.
This role is called Recruitment Specialist – Sourcer.

WHY IS THIS ROLE IMPORTANT?


Because most of the IT candidates these days are passive (not looking for a job actively).
Hence, we need to contact them and approach them individually.

TASK EXAMPLES
• Research user pro les on LinkedIn based on pre-de ned criteria (we’ll teach you how).
• Research user pro les on GitHub based on pre-de ned criteria (we’ll teach you how).
• Upload potential candidates you nd to an online spreadsheet.

HOW DO WE KNOW YOU DO YOUR JOB WELL?


• You prepare a high-quality spreadsheet with pro les that meet the client’s criteria.
• Some of those contacts will be interested in a new job opportunity.
• A few of these IT professionals will be hired by our clients.

COMPENSATION
• Fixed monthly salary 700–1,100 EUR gross
• Generous bonus for each candidate you nd that is hired by the client

CONTRACT
• Part-time or Full-time (we can start with part-time and evolve to full-time)
• Freelance agreement (we can help you set it up if you need to)

TOOLS WE USE
If you don’t already have experience in using these tools, you will need to be able to
demonstrate your ability to rapidly master them:

• Slack – our primary communication tool


• Zoom – how we run our online meetings
• Google Apps – online documents on Google Drive, i.e. Google Sheets, Google Docs
• Zoho Recruit – our primary ATS (applicant tracking system)

HOW DO WE WORK?
You’ll be joining this high-performance team and are expected to perform at your best,
continuously improve, and grow professionally. This is not any kid’s recreational camp
where you can hide and slack off.
You’ll report your progress and KPI daily on Slack.
We’ll teach you everything you need to know to succeed in your new role.
And we’ll do our best to support you to hit your KPIs… so you can earn solid bonuses!

suitable pro les so that someone else can reach out to them via email or message.
Follow these steps:
• Open LinkedIn.com (create a new free account if you need to)
• Find 10 people in Slovakia (ideally Bratislava) who have in their title “Data Science” or
“Data Scientist” - skip people who don’t seem to match these conditions.

• Location: Slovakia
• Keywords: ("data science" OR "data scientist") AND Python
• Create a new Google Sheet with columns:

• Full Name – their name


• LinkedIn URL – their pro le URL
• Keywords – how did you nd this person
• Interesting Info – why do you think they are potentially good candidates
• Notes/Comments – anything interesting you noticed on their pro le
• Upload 10 best contacts you found to the spreadsheet
• Make sure we can access the sheet (set Share - anyone with the link)
• Submit the spreadsheet URL via email to lippos@edtechlabs.com
• We’ll review your assignment, UNLOCK your training, and invite you for an interview.
