ANALOG MICROELECTRONIC CIRCUITS

Experiential Learning Project

INSTRUCTIONS

1.The topic for each student is assigned against their name in the attached
spreadsheet.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1361gOJLRtvplRuAdpCg4F8nqpkL1XRf0gqGzcLSVf90/edit?usp=sharing
2. The title given can be considered as the problem statement. You are instructed to
develop a circuit based on the title.
3. The title which are shaded need to be implemented using Opamps , the other titles
are discrete component based or speci ed ICs based
4. All simulations need to be done in LTSpice only.
5. For certain titles, some speci c ICs are mentioned, those are available in LTSpice
library.
6. The report of the project should be submitted in the format along with the .asc le
from LTspice.
7. The project will be evaluated for 50 marks and scaled down to 10 marks to include
in CIE.
8. For any queries enter against your name in the same spreadsheet.
9. Those who got same titles should produce the work with signi cant di erence,
especially in the speci cations.
10. Procedure to follow for the project work
a. Search for the circuit related to the title in any textbooks or reliable internet
sources.
b. Study the operation of the circuit in detail and understand the working and
role of each component.
c. Look for design equations which govern the circuit.
d. Design the circuit for a set of required speci cations. (You can choose your
own speci cations)
e. A detailed design of the circuit need to be done and should be shown in the
report.
f. Open the simulator and create the schematic.
g. Simulate and see the operation of the circuit.
h. Perform suitable analysis to extract the required details of the circuit.
i. Observe the simulation waveforms, results and check with the calculations
already obtained.
j. Come up with a set of inferences from the project.
k. List some practical applications of the circuit.

Academic honesty is important, practice it.
