- not quit. Coastal erosion effects the coastal population, people who are near the
coastal area. Waves are the most likely the culprit behind Coastal erosion, as crushing
of water exerts pressure when it hits an object depending on the power of the wind and
at the same removes soils and small particles of rocks. This waves become serious
when storm arise, it amplifies sea water level and produce sustained wind that are fast
and strong which lead to strong waves that can threaten not-very-erosion-resistant.
However as we thought of it as an inevitable, Engineers has a come up with different
solution on how to mitigate with this kind geological process. some solutions involves
armouring the shore with structure like sea wall, bulkhead, and revetment, this building
are design to withstand impact of waves, which are groin, breakwater, and hard
