C. Explanation
Guide Question:
1. What conditions favor the formation of typhoon?
A typhoon forms from the open waters of oceans and seas where the sun can heat up
large areas of these bodies of water. As warm moist air rises, a low pressure area is produced.

2. How can you relate the weather disturbance to global warming?

The weather disturbance is the effect done by a global warming. The continuous
increase in global warming may lead to increase rate of typhoons.

3. What are the effects of global warming on your surrounding? Cite some examples.
4. How can you raise awareness on the hazards of global warming?

D. Elaboration
The students will be group into four. They will create a short film on the importance of
protecting Earth’s atmosphere. They have to encourage the viewers to act or do their share to
protect the atmosphere.
