- THE LISTENING REPORT -

PHINEAS AND FERB THE MOVIE:
CANDACE AGAINST THE UNIVERSE

GROUP: 4
Members:
1.Huỳnh Ngọc Minh Thư

3. Nguyễn Võ Lâm Linh
4. Nguyễn Thanh Trọng

I. PROCESS:
During the process, work was equally divided among all members:
- Minh Thu: choosing three suitable scenes of the movie, also deciding the
characters for each members, and editing the video.
- Thanh Trong: checking the transcript to see if there were any mistakes, and
preparing enough handouts for class, fixing others’ tone and pronunciation.
- Minh Ha: creating the powerpoint, bringing along her laptop during the process,
scheduling for practice.
-Lam Linh: preapring exercises and vocabularies, along with transcripting
dialogues.

II. CHALLENGES:
 - During the process, we faced several difficulties:
 First of all, it took us quite long to prepare for the final transcript
because some dialogues were not only too long but also too fast for us
to catch up with.
 Secondly, we found it hard to choose a day and a place to practice
because of our fulled-schedule
 As the presentation day came closer, we were under mentality
pressure which could make us not to perform well in front of class.
 The last problem, which made us panic, was when we came to class
early and tried to connect our group's laptop to the television, but it
failed.

III. TACKLING THE PROBLEMS:

 Despite its difficutiles, we made an effort to catch up with our characters’
speed.
 We did not have a free day during the week, so we chose Sunday from 9 a.m
to 5 p.m of each week to practice.
 In order to be confident on the D-day, we asked our friends to be the
audiences for us to practice.
IV. AFTERTHOUGHT:
- During the dubbing period, there were much struggle and mental strain on all
parties involved. Despite the possibility of failure, everything was somewhat in
order. After finishing the presentation, it was no doubt that it went better than
expected. The efforts needed for the presentation to go smoothly were indeed paid
off. Additionally, being voice actors was a fascinating learning process and
brought forth new experiences.
