Hearty Congratulations from IIM Trichy!!! We welcome you to the IIM Trichy family.

1. We are pleased to invite you to join the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (2022-24), leading to the
award of MBA Degree of Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli.
2. Before joining us, we know you will be eager to know the details about the Institute in terms of faculty,
infrastructure, international partnerships, industry support, etc. IIM Tiruchirappalli leads among the new IIMs in
terms of faculty strength as well as quality. We have thirty-one faculty members, all PhDs from reputed business
schools and universities in India and abroad. We have tie-ups with reputed business schools across the globe for
our student exchange programmes. As a PGPM student, you may get an opportunity for the student exchange
programme with one of our global partnering institutes.
3. Besides PGPM, we also have three other programmes offered from our Trichy Campus i.e. Post Graduate
Programme in Management - Human Resources (PGPM-HR), Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) and
Executive Doctoral Programme in Management (E-DPM), leading to the award of MBA and PhD Degrees,
respectively. IIM Tiruchirappalli also has a Campus in Chennai where we offer a Post Graduate Programme in
Business Management (Executive Programme) for Working Executives.
4. Tiruchirappalli (Trichy in short) has a rich cultural heritage. Trichy is centrally located in Tamil Nadu, which makes
it easy to visit prominent tourist attractions that include World Heritage sites of Thanjavur, Mahabalipuram and
Gangaikonda Cholapuram, natural escapades of Coutrallam Falls and Kanyakumari, hill stations at Munnar,
Kodaikanal and Ooty; and the exotic Indo French enclave of Pondicherry. Trichy has excellent connectivity to
Chennai and other major cities of Tamil Nadu and neighboring states by road, rail and air. Trichy is also well
connected to international destinations such as UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka with direct non-
stop flights on a daily basis.
5. IIM Tiruchirappalli is located on a 175-acre state of the art campus about 11 km from the Trichy international
airport. The campus has modern hostels, a well-designed academic block and an ultra-modern Learning
Resource Center (LRC). The hostels are comfortable with air conditioning provided during the night. The campus
also has a student mess, canteens and other essential facilities. IIM Tiruchirappalli has excellent facilities for
Indoor and Outdoor games. (Indoor Games: Table Tennis, Badminton, Pool Table, Gymnasium are ready to use.
Lawn-Tennis and Squash courts will be ready in due course of time. Outdoor Games: Cricket, Football,
Volleyball, Basketball with floodlights are ready to use along with a fully functional Swimming Pool in the Sports
Complex.)
6. All classrooms and hostels in IIM Tiruchirappalli are Wi-Fi enabled. Wired LAN ports are also available in all the
rooms of the hostels. IIMT has a world-class Learning Resource Centre that fosters an enriching, collaborative
learning environment. This infrastructure facilitates a rich learning environment, both inside and outside the
classroom.
7. IIMT also offers several other executive training programmes for various Public and Private sector companies,
industry bodies and the Government. IIMT also offers professional development programs for academicians of
different Institutions and Universities, including Deans, Directors, Vice-Chancellors and BoG Members.
8. This offer of admission is subject to the following conditions:
a. Satisfying the requirements/conditions mentioned in the Explanatory Note to the Admission Offer to the
Post-Graduate Programme in Management (2022-24) attached to this letter.
b. Remittance of Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA) and Term I fee:
i. Remittance of OAA of Rs. 100000/-, latest by 5.00pm on 16 May, 2022, which will be adjusted
against Term I fee.
ii. Remittance of balance Term I fee of Rs. 225000/-, latest by 5.00pm on 23 May, 2022.
iii. The above amount will cover the remainder of the Term I fee, including a refundable caution
deposit (Rs.30,000/-) and mess advance (Rs.20,000/-).

 iv. Please ensure that you have paid all the dues of Rs. 325000/- towards tuition fee, refundable
caution deposit and mess advance for Term I before the applicable due date, as mentioned above
c. Instructions / Guidelines for making Online Payment:
i. After logging into the portal, the candidate should click on the status of the respective course
(PGPM/PGPM-HR). The candidate will be able to see the details of their status along with the
payment button (Pay now). The candidate has to click the “Pay now” button for making the
payment of Rs. 100000/- for offered candidates. This payment of Rs. 100000/- may be made later
also but within the stipulated time (on or before 5.00pm on 16 May, 2022).
ii. Those who make the payment will receive the receipt at their email address, and they can also
download the same from the payment success page. All the payment receipts can be downloaded
anytime by clicking the “Payment History” button on the dashboard.
iii. The second installment (balance payment) for the offered candidates can be made within the
stipulated time as mentioned above in point no.8 (b.ii). The Personal Data Form can be filled and
saved anytime on or before 16th June, 2022. However, without making the balance payment, the
candidates will not be allowed to submit the application form.
iv. Candidates can choose any one of the following payment modes for making online payment:

9. Please note that IIM Tiruchirappalli will provide accommodation to the students on a twin sharing basis in the
Hostel (Double Occupancy in the Hostel rooms). Kindly note that family accommodation cannot be provided on
campus under any circumstances.
10. Please bring your formal attire with you (suit, preferably custom made, black) when you are asked to report to the
campus. You will require this while attending company presentations, interviews and other formal occasions.
11. Please go through the EXPLANATORY NOTE TO ADMISSION OFFER enclosed with this letter and ensure that
you fulfil all the requirements for enrollment as outlined.
12. Although this programme has traditionally been delivered in an “In Campus Mode”, and this year also we are
planning to have it in campus mode, depending on the prevailing situation, the Institute reserves the right to
hold the classes through “Online Mode or Hybrid Mode” as and when required. Due to prevailing
circumstances, if the Institute decides to go for online or hybrid classes, you will be informed closer to the date of
Registration. In the event of online or hybrid classes, it is strongly advised that you equip your residence
with a laptop or desktop having web-camera and adequate internet bandwidth / facility prior to the
commencement of the classes.
13. Kindly fill out the “Personal Data Form” online. Take a print out of the filled-in form and submit the same along
with all required documents as mentioned in the admission form at the time of Registration, failing which your
admission may stand cancelled.
