Dear Scholarship Review Board,

Hello, my name is Vu Nguyen Khoi Nguyen and I’m a member of 7AD2. In this school
year, my minimum English score was not not enough due to the online learning and there was
no competition for me to improve my score. Because of that, I hope the Scholarship Review
Board will give me a second chance to get 50% scholarship for the school year 2022-2023 and
this is the reason why.
These are my Academic achievements.
- In the 2019-2020 school year, for the first time competing in, I received a 227/230 which
was only less than the required score of 1 point.
- In the 2020-2021 school year, I got a 136/150 in the Cambridge Key English Test. In the
same year, I also studied really hard and got two student of the month awards in
semester two. After those achievements, the last prize I got is the Outstanding student of
the school year 2020-202.
- In the 2021-2022, due to the covid pandemic and one semester I had to study online. I
didn’t have many highlights except for the promising Wetech prize and the first place in
Robot ROBOTACON WRO 2021 B1 national round which led me to the World WRO
2021 B1, in this round, our team won fourth place. In the follo year, I also got in the top
50 wishers.
These are my extra-curricular activities that I have taken part in.
- In the 2019-2020 school year, I took part in the school football team participating in the
district tournament. In the same year, I also took part in an event called ‘Crush on Hanoi’,
the event where my friends and I become tour guides and guide tourists. Later the year,
our grade five participated the ‘10X startup' host by Ms. Thien Trinh.
- In the 2020-2021 school year, I participated in the school football team and was a lively
member.
- In the 2021-2022 school year, I took part in the reading log competition with my friend
and won second place prize.
The last reason is to help our financial problem and give me more motivation to achieve
higher in next school year.
For those reasons, I hope the Scholarship review board will consider my application and
will accept it.
