Comments: _____Lauren has done a fine job communicating with me concerning hte project, completing
her report (Very interesting), and creating an art piece from (fish) from plastics. The report was very good
and focused on several human impacts on the oceans that should concern us all.

Comments:__Several emails were also exchanged (2/8/22, 2/10/22, 2/25/22, 4/13/22, 4/15/22,
5/20/22). These concerned details of the project, scheduling, reporting.

3. How did the project stretch or challenge the student’s abilities? Please assess the quality of the
project. Please make additional comments on the back if necessary:
Other than the communications we've had over the phone and email, I am unfamiliar with Lauren's
background, ability, and performance, so it is difficult to assess where this project fits as a challenge (or not). I
think Lauren has done a very good job on the report. It touches on several important topics, but not in great
detail, and is a very good sort of 'wake-up notice' concerning human impacts. The plastic fish art piece is
wonderful and very creative. I love it.
