About AutoComplete:

We are a NEW (only 6 months old) tech startup, based in San Francisco, CA. We were founded
in SanFrancisco and we’re making it easy for consumers to buy insurance. By partnering with
auto dealerships and insurance companies, we generate a quote for the customer when they
purchase a vehicle and create a seamless experience for customers.

AutoComplete has 3 co-founders who are all repeat founders and we raised 12.5m in funding
and the market is really excited to see what we have to offer!

Right now, we’re a small team of 15 employees. 7 of 15 are engineers all through Latin America,
mostly in Argentina.

1. Engineering Manager
Initial Screen
● 6+ years of software development experience
● Language: Highly Proficient English and Fluent Spanish
○ Needs to meet with HQ so English is a requirement.
● Please ask for current AND desired compensation
○ Range: $100-130k/annual

2. Engineers
Initial Screen
● 4+ years of software development experience
○ Confirm their experience/background
● Language: Basic English and Fluent Spanish
○ English doesn’t have to advanced but conversational, and can answer heavy
technical questions with the CTO
● What are they looking for in their next role? What are their goals?
○ Are they looking to challenge themselves in a new start up that is constantly
moving in different directions?
○ Are they focused on visas? (Something we can’t offer yet)
● Please ask for current AND desired compensation
○ Range: $70-100k/annual
○ Some candidates are providing a large jump in compensation. If someone has a
$2000k/mo salary and asking $5000k/mo may be a red flag? We offer based on
skill sets.

What we’re looking for in a candidate:

1. Engineer Manager: 6+ years of experience in both Front-End & Back-End. We’re


looking for someone who wants to manage a small team (3-5 engineers) passionate
about mentorship and building a team for success + want to be hands-on. The candidate
should want to code as well.

2. Front-End & Back-end: 4+ years of experience in Javascript + React/Python. Strongly


preferred to have a candidate who has worked in start-ups/american companies before
so they understand how we operate in DevOps in the U.S.
