1.How does geography affects religion? Geographic factors can shape our beliefs during our formative
years. They can also have an impact on us as we move and change places throughout our lives.
Geography, and the geological formations and climatological effects that result from it, have a significant
shaping influence on the daily lives of people who live in specific areas. This shaping influence naturally
extends to religious traditions that develop in specific places, influencing metaphors and motifs. It also
affects physical structures that are relevant in specific areas of the world. Traditionally, the influences of
religion in shaping cosmological understandings of the world have clearly shown the relationship
between geography and religion.Other traditional approaches to the study of the relationship between
geography and religion included theological explorations of Nature’s workings. It is a highly
environmentally deterministic approach that identified the role of geographical environments in shaping
the nature and evolution of various religious traditions. Religious ideology and practice in specific spaces
are guided and transformed by their location.Geography not only influences where specific religions or
belief systems, such as the world’s major faiths, are located, but it can also influence how specific beliefs
are practiced and the behaviors that it encourages.

2.How does religion affects culture?

Religion influences cultures, but it is

Also influenced by culture. Religion can

Play a big part in the cultural identity of people, influencing how they dress, what and when they eat,
and how they behave.

Religion can be a key factor in the cultural identity of many people, influencing their behavior and
traditions. Many of the cultural traditions are closely associated with religion. Also, many religious
practices and behaviors have become so rooted in the daily lives of people all over the world that it is
hard to make a distinct difference between culture and religion.Religion can influence the culture of an
entire community, nation, or region of the world. When people in a culture believe strongly in a given
religion, it can have a huge impact on their culture. Their culture comes to accept only those behaviors
and ways of thinking that are acceptable to their religion. Some ways that religion affects culture are that
it inspires great works of art and architecture and that it often defines socially acceptable behavior in
countries strongly influenced by it. It is related to other factors such as the politics, the economy, the
family and it interacts with those factors in many ways.
