Invest time before and after school. I know I
will have to try to make the time to dedicate
time for my class preparation and for my
students. This is something I will have to be
aware and make sure I plan it and schedule it
ahead of time.
Addresses students by name. I have a really
hard time memorizing names, so I usually need
to make a great effort to learn them. I must
study them and practice them often until I got
them down.
-Have make-up work ready for absentees. I
want to make sure to send work home when
students are absent. Even if it takes more work
on my part.
-Has materials for substitutes readily available.
I know I must do this because emergencies can
happen and it is important to be prepared.
