developing a professional teacher like you. You can only become a professional

professional teacher. You learn the content courses including the major or

Good teachers are role models, whether in school, at home or in the
community. Form the teachers that you had from elementary to college, did the
personal qualities that they possess, help you learn better as a student?
Identify one personal characteristic of your model teacher that has made a
great impact in your life as a learner. Reflect and describe how this quality
influenced you,
A good teacher inspires their students to continuously strive for excellence.
However, a morally upright teacher transforms a child's life for the better and
helps them develop into respectable, successful adults. Teachers affect us every
day and play a significant role in our lives. Every day they not only teach us
something new, but they also teach us lessons that we will apply to every choice
we make in life. Fortunately, I had a teacher who always believed in me and
pushed me past my comfort zone. She is my third-grade teacher, Mrs. Alombro.
Besides being my teacher, Mrs. Alombro served as both my inspiration and a role
model for me. When I thought I couldn't succeed or accomplish my goals, she
encouraged me. I never trusted myself, and whenever a task proved to be too
challenging, I would always give up without much of a struggle. But despite my
day's lack of accomplishments, Mrs. Alombro never gave up on me and kept
encouraging me.

Did you learn from your observation and interview on teacher’s professional
competences? Now let us analyze the data.
Answer the following questions
1. In Activity 2, do you consider the Teacher as a Professional Teacher? In what
competencies is the teacher Strong? _______ Weak? ______ Doubtful? _______Why?
As what I have observed, cooperating teacher is more on the strong side
because I believe that a good teacher is good role model to the students. As
she is a professional teacher, the way she conduct her classes every session
shows that the students are progressing in their academic. It is evident that
her teaching strategies is aligned to the intended learning outcome. At the end
of the lesson, the learning objectives are successfully achieved.
2. Did your answers to the survey form coincide with the answer of the co-
teacher or head of the teacher you observed? Why?
Yes, I believe the co-teacher and I have the same impression of my
cooperating teacher. I can say that because my cooperating teacher embodies
the characteristics and personality of a teacher. During her class, I noticed
that she always ensured that the students were learning in every lesson. She
addressed the questions and clarifications of the students to make the
teaching and learning process effective in the class. She puts importance on
the standard and competency of a teacher, which helps her to continue
inspiring the students to be highly skilled individuals.
