Initial Teachings of the High Temple

Reiki Self-treatment covers all major and minor energy points and pathways in
the body, it helps clear any blockages and ensures energy flow all over.

After being attuned to Sekhmet Reiki, you will be able to channel the Sekhem
energy anytime you want. Daily self-treatment will help protect you against
future illness and bring balance into your body-mind.

Regular self-treatments help maintain vitality and balance. They will increase
your psychic and creative abilities and reduce the extreme highs and lows of life,
leading to a new balanced state.

There is no right or wrong way to do healing; with time you'll intuitively know
where to place your hands.

The following hand positions are only a guide. Use your intuition.

Each position is held for three to five minutes. A full treatment takes average of
60 minutes in total.

The Hand positions

Position 1: Cup hands and gently rest them over the eyes, cheekbones &
forehead.
Assists in healing: Eye - Sinuses - Pineal Gland - Pituitary Gland - Hypothalamus
- Cerebral Nerves - Perception - Anger.

Position 2: Place hands on the top of the head with fingerprints touching.
Assists in healing: Migraine - Headaches - Multiple Sclerosis - Brain.

Position 3: Place hands on either side of the head with fingers covering the
temples.
Assists in healing: Colds - Flu - Ears - Balancing The Functions Of The Right &
Left Brain.

Position 4: Place hands in the back of the head covering the Occipital Ridge.
Assists in healing: Fears - Phobias - Depression - Shocks - Hay Fever - Strokes -
Cervical Nodes - Brain - Anger.

Position 5: Place hands to cover the top of the shoulders & bottom of the neck.
Assists in healing: Spinal Injuries - Tight Muscles - Neck - Cervical Nodes -
Thyroid & Parathyroid Glands - Lymphatic Duct - Subclavian Vein.

Position 6: Place hands around the neck with heels covering the throat.
Assists in healing: Voice & Speech Problems - Bronchitis - Communication -
Self Expression - Cervical Nodes - Thyroid & Parathyroid Glands - Lymphatic
Duct - Subclavian Vein.

Position 7: Hands to form a T with left hand covering the heart & the right hand
over the thymus gland.
Assists in healing: Infections - Immune System - Weight Issues - Heart - Lungs -
Thymus Gland - Thyroid Gland - Esophagus - Grieve - Stress.

Position 8: Place hands horizontally at the top of the torso with fingertips
touching.
Assists in healing: Spleen - The Duodenum - Thoracic Duct - Grieve - Stress.

Position 9: Place hands horizontally at the center of the torso with fingertips
touching.
Assists in healing: Stomach - Kidneys - Pancreas - Liver - Gallbladder - Adrenal
Gland - Cistern Chili - Peyer's Patch - Shame.

Position 10: Place hands horizontally at the bottom of the torso with fingertips
touching.
Assists in healing: Reproductive System - Stress - Intestines - Liver - Colon -
Ovary - Guilt.

Position 11: Hands to form a V inside the hip bone.


Assists in healing: Reproductive System - Inguinal Nodes - Lymphatic Collecting
Vessels - Stress - Anger - Fear.

Positions 12 & 13: Place hands over the knees front, then over knees back.
Assists in healing: Knees Pains - Varicose - Popliteal Lymph Nodes.

Position 14: Place hands on shoulders / top of the back.


Assists in healing: Back & Spine Issues - Stress.

Position 15: Place hands on the middle of the back.


Assists in healing: Back & Spine Issues - Stress - Shame.

Position 16: Place hands on the bottom of the back.


Assists in healing: Back & Spine Issues - Stress.

Position 17: Hands to form a V at the base of the spine.


Assists in healing: Back & spine issues - stress - anger - fear.

Position 18: Sit in lotus position & hold both feet with your hands. (If such
position is uncomfortable, sit cross legged with one leg resting on the other and
place hands on top & underside of the foot, then alternate & do the same for the
other foot).
Assists in healing: Leg Pains - Varicose Veins.
