Women account for about half of the world's population. As a result, women's
socioeconomic participation at the Using international, regional, national, and local
levels more effectively significant potential resources Furthermore, it is It is clear
that entrepreneurship development and empowerment are mutually beneficial.
Participating in numerous development initiatives is necessary for women's
empowerment. In other words, women's participation in numerous fields.
Entrepreneurial endeavors have given them more power in social, economic,
cultural, and other areas. It's understandable, that women entrepreneurs have made
substantial contributions to all sectors of the economy in industrialized countries
such as Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and the United States.
Due to several factors, women entrepreneurs are involved in business. There are a
number of push and pull elements that motivate women to work independently and
stand on their own two feet. Move towards independent decision-making, for
example. The driving force behind this desire is life and work. In other words,
women entrepreneurs are individuals who take on difficult responsibilities in order
to meet their own requirements and achieve economic independence. Furthermore,
a great desire to entrepreneurial qualities includes doing something positive.
Women who are capable of adding value to both the family and the community
and social activities The opportunities and challenges presented to women in this
digital and dynamic era are transforming from job seekers to job producers at a
rapid rate.
On the other side, many women start a business as a result of catastrophic events
such as divorce, the death of a breadwinner, or a job loss. Decrease in family
income, persistent sufficiency in family income the household, etc. The increasing
number of female entrepreneurs is a global trend, particularly in developing
countries. In women own more than men in sophisticated market economies. 25%
of all transactions. Many people believe that women are inferior being 'pushed' into
business ownership rather than 'pulled'. However, new research indicates that many
women self-employment is becoming more popular, especially among the younger
generation. Women entrepreneurs, it turns out, can make a substantial contribution
to poverty reduction, the mobilization of entrepreneurial endeavors, and the
acceleration of the achievement of broader socioeconomic goals.
Economic contribution
Women's economic activities directly contribute to growth and efficiency in
dealing with informal business problems, and poverty reduction is one of
policymakers' top priorities.
i)Capital formation: Entrepreneurs mobilize the public's idle savings through the
issuance of industrial securities. Public savings invested in industry result in more
productive use of national resources. Capital formation is increasing, which is
necessary for rapid economic growth.
ii) Increase in Per capita Income: Women entrepreneurs in India have also taken
advantage of the opportunities. They convert unused resources such as land, labor,
and capital into national income and wealth in the form of goods and services.
They contribute to an increase in the country's net national product and per capita
income, both of which are important indicators of economic growth.
iii) Job creation: Women entrepreneurs in India play an important role in job
creation, both directly and indirectly. They create jobs by establishing small-scale
industries.
Social Contribution:
Women entrepreneurs are also helping to improve the country's balanced regional
development and living standards.
i)Balanced Regional Development: In India, women entrepreneurs are working to
eliminate regional disparities in economic development. They establish industries
in underserved areas to take advantage of government resource concessions and
subsidies.
Ii) Raising living standards: By establishing small-scale industries, it is possible
to reduce scarcity of essential commodities while also introducing new products.
Women entrepreneurs in this country are producing a wide range of goods on a
large scale and selling them at low prices, resulting in an improvement in the
standard of living.
iii) Innovation: The key to entrepreneurship is innovation. It denotes the
commercialization of an invention. The entrepreneur, as an innovator, takes on the
roles of a pioneer and an industrial leader. Entrepreneurs have made numerous
contributions to the development of new products as well as existing products and
services. All of this has resulted in economic development by creating jobs,
increasing income, and so on.
Conclusion:
The majority of women run medium and small businesses in difficult
circumstances. They not only have difficulty finding premises, finding markets for
their products, obtaining information and credit, but they also have limited access
to training, particularly in rural areas. Their educational levels are low, they are
responsible for all domestic chores, and they must seek permission from family
members to travel to trade fairs or for training, even if they want to expand their
businesses. Women entrepreneurs need to be better organised in order to identify
higher potential business opportunities, develop markets for their products,
improve product quality and marketing skills, practise good financial management,
and secure better financing.
