Water-reducing, superplasticizer developed

DESCRIPTION
Mapefluid N190 is a chloride free superplasticizing
admixture formulated from synthetic polymers. It
conforms with ASTM C494 Type A, B, D and G standard
and EN 934-2 Tables 2, 10, 11.1 and 11.2.
ADVANTAGES
Mapefluid N190 reduces the water/cement ratio with
excellent improvements in the fresh and hardened
concrete properties, reduces placing problems in
hot weather concreting by improving workability
and workability retention. Increases impermeability
and durability. It is designed for meeting all the
specifications required in OPC and blended mixes.
USES
• Reduce permeability in ready mix concrete.
• Hot weather concreting.
• Increase concrete workability.
• Increase concrete compressive strength.
• Improves surface finish, pumpability and trowelling
especially for precast concrete.
TYPICAL DOSAGES
The optimum dosage of Mapefluid N190 to meet
specific job site requirement should be figured out by
site trials using the selected cement, mineral additions
and aggregates.
Standard concrete production starting dosage is
0.5-3.0 Liters/ every100 kg of total cementitious materials.

EFFECT OF OVERDOSAGE
An overdosage of Mapefluid N190 will result in an
increase of the retarding properties. Consult Mapei
local technical advisor for overdosages. In case of
overdosage good concrete practices such as curing and
delay of de-shutter should be accounted for.
COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER
MAPEI PRODUCTS
Mapefluid N190 is compatible with other MAPEI
products for preparing special concretes, particularly
with:
• Dynamon family range, polycarboxylate based
products.
• Mapeplast RP100, retarding plasticizers.
• Viscostar 3K, viscosity modifying agent for self
compacting concrete.
• Expancrete, expansive agent for producing shrinkage
compensating concretes.

information.
PACKAGING
Mapefluid N190 is available in 25 liter jerrycans,
200 liter drums and 1000 liter megadrums. It is also
available in bulk on request.
STORAGE
Mapefluid N190 can be stored for 12 months in closed
containers. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.

Dynamon SR3600 is not considered hazard-
ous according to the current regulation
regarding the classification of mixtures. It is
however recommended to use gloves, eye
protection and to take the usual precaution for
the handling of chemical products.
