It is to inform that, Government vide reference 2nd cited have constituted a Urban
Forest Park Management Committee as follows -

The said committee is supposed to discharge the following functions duly following
guidelines already issued vide reference 1't cited -

i) Approve annual action plan for the maintenance of the parks.

ii) Monitor the functioning of the parks and issue instructions to ensure smooth
management of the parks.
iii) Canyout any other responsibility as delegated to it for the betterment of the parks.
iv) Place all policy issues before the Goveming board of ZAPAT and submit progress
reports regularly.
In view of the facts mentioned above, there is a need to finalize the action plans for
maintenance and further development of Urban Forest Parks in the state. Therefore the
following schedule is fixed for the meeting with Circle Heads, District Forest Officer and
Forest Divisional Officer in the state -

The following agenda items will be discussed during in the meeting -

i) a) Annual Plan of Operation (APO) for maintenance of parks for the year 2020 -
2l and2021-22.
Note: This APO should contain all the items for the maintenance and upkeeping of
the Urban Forest Parks and the expenditure shall be met from the revenue generated
 by the parks through Gate fee, cycling, walking, adventurous sports and other
activities taken up inside the parks. The items proposed must be in accordance with
the revenue expected for that particular year. The information may be furnished in
the Annexure - I enclosed.

i. b) Annual Plan of Operation (APO) for the development of the Urban Forest
Parks for the year 2021-22.

Note: This APO shall contain all the items proposed by Forest Department and other
agencies participating in the development of Urban Forest Parks. The Circle Heads
shall conduct the meeting with the concerned agencies (were ever applicable) and
come up with the comprehensive action plan for 2021-22.Items proposed in all the
schemes including CAMPA, Afforestation, MP LADS, District Administration,
Corporate Social Responsibility, donations and any other scheme etc. and items
proposed by other agencies shall be indicated in the APO. The information may be
furnished in the Annexure - II enclosed.

ii) Information called vide PCCF Ref. No. 7201202015F-III, Dt. 22.12.2020 shall be
furnished in the Annexure - III enclosed.
iii) In addition, the following items will also be discussed -

i) Progress of nurseries under MGNREGS Scheme.

ii) Training to Gram Panchayat on Nursery Raising.
The Circle Heads are requested to furnish the above information as detailed below -
i) Information shall be furnished for each park for APO for maintenance and
development separately in separate individual sheet. (Annexure- I&II)
ii) All the sheets for maintenance and development of urban forest parks shall be
submitted in a spiral-bound booklet and furnished on the day of meeting to the
Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests (SF), TS, Hyderabad. The sheets for
maintenance of parks will be furnished first followed by all the sheets meant
for development of parks. The booklet shall contain the entire information of
the circle.
iii) They shall also fumish a softcopy of the information through e-mail:
sf.telangana@gmail.com for all the Annexures appended.
iv) The Circle Heads are requested to give power-point presentation (PPT) on
each park separately for maintenance of parks and development of parks
separately.
v) The circle heads are requested to conduct a meeting with the concerned
agencies (wherever applicable )developing the urban forest parks in their
circles and incorporate the information furnished by them after due discussion
and furnish the information in the Annexures enclosed.
vi) The circle heads will attend the meeting as per the schedule mentioned above
along with the concerned District Forest Officers and Forest Divisional
Officers.

The concemed agencies participating in the development of urban forest parks are
requested to furnish the information pertaining to Annexure - II to the concemed Circle
Heads to consolidate the information. They are also requested to depute the concemed
officers from their department to attend the meeting as per the schedule mentioned above.
