0 Background of the Business:

Luscious Hotdog as a small business had its actual beginning when our group was in the midst
of a hard time deciding on a particular product which could possibly be an amazing way to wow
school-based customers like students, teachers and other school community personnel of a
new kind of food that would definitely entice their total senses. The roots of the product making
can be traced back from the ideas of Grade 10 Rizal students to design another recipe out of a
simple hotdog accessible in any market in the area.

Moreover, the first version of the product was a total collaboration of Arvin Englisa, Kim Chielo
Febria and some Grade 10 Rizal executives during the preparation for their outing with the
whole section. The product which actually gained good and uplifting comments from the few
people who had tasted it, the verdict of making and modifying it once again for another purpose
gushed into the mind of the group.

The business is not considered as a sole proprietorship despite its underlying conditions during
promotions and marketing, neither it can’t also belong to a corporation type since the group is
not as establish for it to be named under the latter, Well, the group which primarily owned this
small business dropped on this concept of naming it as a group-type of business since the said
venture is functional only due to the collaboration of the people inside the fence of the party with
six members.

The business falls under a food business with its vision to serve school-based customers an
enticing and luscious recipe out of an ordinary hotdog.

2.0 Benefits to the community:

Luscious hotdog as a food business together with the businesses of other groups of Grade 11
Academic students intangibly collaborate and blend in with each other to be more than
beneficial to the school community of Magnaga National High School. Though the primary
purpose upon establishment of the business is because of it as a must requirement in an
applied subject, our leading goal is entrepreneurs and manufacturers ourselves is to supply our
target customers with what is new.

It is strongly beneficial in the sense that due to the launching of this small business, students
and teachers won’t have to require themselves a wasting time to spend going in and out of the
four corners of their classroom to access the school canteen. In accordance with the said
notion, we the owners of this business must deal with face-to-face interaction or personal selling
strategy to catch up customers and subtract their burdens in the midst of a hectic schedule.

In addition, Luscious hotdog is also a very good substitute to the usual appearance of hotdogs
since we really placed on our mind the moment we brainstormed for it that the output should be
healthy, nutritious, delicious and luscious of course so that the customers won’t have the need
to think of some deadly compensation one could acquire in return to over consumption of
processed foods.

This is also a very agreeable avenue for the customers to discover a new chuffing experience to
forget their ordinary ones in the primitive dawns of their lives. This will pave the way for people
to appreciate the application of arts even in cuisines, the creation, the modification and above all
the fortification of the product with essential nutrients like protein, ascorbic acid, calcium and
iron to name a few that one might miss after the fast-paced rise of new commercial and junk
products of today.

Brief Description of the Project

Luscious hotdog is a food business named after the product itself. It offers a quality food
experience which is substitutive to the obsolete forms of the processed product used as input.
Its manufacturing is located at the house of any other member which will serve as the one
manufacturer for a certain span of time. This business offers an easier access to customers and
it also caters their demands and craving to original products with a different blend of a new
application of arts on cooking.

The owners or entrepreneurs are food lovers who aim to give target customers a kind of food
they themselves would undoubtedly pursue if they are in the feet of the buyers. The business
will soon have a secondary or a side dish that would somehow add to the aroma of the food to
magnet more people to try it. The entrepreneurs designed the said project in accordance with
their wants as well, in lined with the feasibility study conducted and what is in in today’s fads
and trends.

Marketing Plan

The target market will include the students, teachers and other school community personnel of
Magnaga National High School as of today. The marketing process is a face-to-face or direct
selling wherein any of the members of the group who are free and don’t have anything to do is
in charged in selling the product. The seller will go directly to the targeted customers so that the
people will have an easier access to the product and that they will no longer spend so much
time to go to the canteen to search for foods.

Meanwhile, the sellers themselves are in charged on what marketing strategy or tactic they will
use to attract the target market. The target market is clear and vivid to the sellers as provided
here in this business plan so that the sellers will only limit selling inside the school premises.

The marketing of the luscious hotdog can be considered as a small business marketing since
the owners are engulfed in direct creation, development and delivery of a bundle of satisfaction
from the creator to the targeted user or customer.

1.0 Executive Summary

Luscious hotdog is a group-run start-up business dedicated to providing excellent quality


hotdogs to the school community of Magnaga National High School, in a manner that generates
fair and equitable returns for present and future owners, and superior value to our customers.
We specialize in creating and offering a variety of deliciously different and new hotdogs that
woul entice customer’s senses.

Magnaga National High School has experienced explosive growth over the past five years with
over one thousand people circulating in the area. Local businesses are slowly catching up with
this new opportunity. We are opening a new style of hotdog and delivery service that will focus
on the school.

Currently, the group offers direct selling and only a few product but soon will offer a better
product, at a reasonable price, and will deliver it on time to the customer's door.

1.1 Objectives

● to attract a minimum of 20 customers each day and provide them with a welcoming marketing
strategy even before receiving the competitive product.

● to provide customers with an innovative hotdog product at a reasonable price on time at the
customers’ door.

● to let customers appreciate art as applied in cooking and how modification a primitive product
could pave the way to a much chuffing food experience.
● to ease the target customers’ burden of going to the school canteen in the midst of the tight
schedule.

Luscious hotdog owners’ mission is to offer the school community of Magnaga National High
School the best hotdog experience within the context. We are committed to providing the
service quality and value that our customers expect.

The owners will use their strategy, staff, and systems to provide each customer with a seamless
three-part customer experience -- service product (Luscious hotdog), service environment, and
service delivery -- each part of which will meet or exceed our customers' expectations.

Our vision is to become the first choice of innovative product in Magnaga National High School,
and a respected manufacturing group-- as measured by our customers, our employees, our
shareholders, and the community we live in.
