various food options to satisfy the hunger and thirst of the students and teachers, whereas the
foods and beverages that we will offer to them are not mediocre but rather an indigenous kind
of treats. We all know that change is constant in our world and in our case, it is also applied
when it comes to our taste. We all want something new and unique that students are eating
the same snacks or treat everybody that is being offered in the canteen. We are positive that
this business of ours would be a hit because not only students can enjoy the privilege of
having a lot of options to choose from for their snacks. Students can also taste a new and
improved foods made by us. In this business, the location would be perfect which is inside
the premises of the Marcelo Spinola, Inc. for our customers which are the students and
teachers. The products that we will be offering are tapsilog(has many different choices such
as hotdog, longganisa and ham), buko juice, calamansi juice and jelly drink that has been
enhanced to suit our customers’ taste. In this business, we have our own Facebook page
whereas our customers can attain and know some details about the products that we will be
offering. Apart from having access online in selling our products, we also have a physical
store whrein we will be offering and serving our products during only health break, lunch
breaks, and other breaks whereas students are allowed to buy. Starting a business is not easy
that’s why we have asked various individuals to be our business partners, investors and
financers that could help us in prospering our business.
To add more, due to the situation of having little competitors, our business will surely
prosper and we will easily get back our income and earn a lot of profit. Our au courant take in
our products will surely be a hit in our customers. Both the students and teachers will want to
acquire our products because as we all know, people tend to engage in trying new things and
also because of our products being budget friendly, students and teachers will have the
privilege to acquire more even without spending too much. Additionally, we have a lot of
marketing strategies that could help us in attracting the customers attention. One of these
strategies is the use of social media to influence others in trying our product. To be able to do
this, we want to engage in taking pictures of our satisfied customers with their consent and
upload it in social media specifically the page of our business to gain and attract more
customers.
Lastly, we should always take into account our expenses and cost. There are materials
and equipment that is already covered by our co-entrepreneur like jars, ice case, blender and
many more. The cost of the products especially the ingredients in making it and the
containers used will be equally distributed to the entrepreneurs who is running the business.
Other things that would need in making the products like electricity will be provided by the
school in exchange of being paid by a given amount. To fund our business, entrepreneurs
have decided to save up money by donating or putting coins or money in a container every
day or once a week to save up for the capital for the business.

Section One: The Business

A. Description of Business
Our business is a small food and beverage enterprise located within the school
campus, specializing in a range of products, including jelly drinks, calamansi drinks, buko
juice, and various Filipino rice meal options such as tapsilog, longsilog, and hotsilog. This
venture is a start-up, signifying that it is a newly established business that aims to fill a gap in
the market and cater to the needs of students and school staff. Our business is in the start-up
phase, with operations taking place inside the school campus. As a start-up, we are in the
initial stages of establishing our presence and offerings within the school community. In
addition to our current status, we also have future plans for expansion to reach a broader
customer base and also a wide variety of products. The location of our business inside the
school campus. It ensures convenience and accessibility for our target market, which are the
students, faculty, and staffs. This strategic placement allows us to serve our customers
without them needing to leave the school premises. The business form we have is a
partnership. This means that we, as the sellers, have established a cooperative agreement with
our school, allowing us to operate and sell our products on the school grounds. In this
partnership, both parties work together to create a mutually beneficial arrangement.
B. Products and Services
The business that we will execute is a mix of food and beverages stall that we will
serve various food options to satisfy the hunger and thirst of the students and teachers,
whereas the foods and beverages that we will offer to them are not mediocre but rather
unique and innovative kind of treats. In our location which is the school, the canteen only
sells snacks, like biscuits mostly, and viand but not rice meals and drinks and that is the
advantage of our business. We are certain that our business would earn a lot of profit because
our target customers which are the teachers and students can enjoy the privilege of having a
lot of options to choose from for their snacks at the same time, they can also taste the new
and improved Filipino delicacies made by us such as various Filipino rice meals like tapsilog,
tosilog, hotsilog, hamsilog, etc. and different drinks.
C. Market Analysis

Engaging in the business of selling "silog" dishes and drinks within a school can
yield several possible outcomes. Success and profitability are attainable if our menu resonates
with the school community and maintain our competitive pricing, with a target market consist
of students and teachers seeking for convenient and affordable meals. Potentially, providing a
steady income stream. However, competition and regulatory are the key considerations. a
diverse and appealing menu, competitive pricing, and focus to quality and consistency is
essential for success. Operating within a school also offers the opportunity for community
engagement, which can lead to loyal customers and word-of-mouth referrals. However, it's
crucial to acknowledge the challenges, such as competition from other vendors or the school's
canteen, and the need to comply with health and safety regulations and school policies.
Flexibility, market adaptation, and risk management will be essential to navigate these
challenges. Additionally, assessing the long-term viability of your business within the school
environment and your ability to build strong relationships will play a vital role in determining
your overall success. Convenience: By offering our products within the school premises, we
provide a convenient option for students and staff to access food and beverages. This
convenience is a key selling point, as it saves customers time and effort compared to going
off-campus for meals.

D. Marketing Plan
As mentioned, our products will venture in a food and drink business. As for food we
have a lot of options for the tapsilog like longsilog, tosilog, hotsilog and many more that our
target customers would have the privilege to choose from these. As for the drinks like
calamansi juice, buko juice, jelly juice etc. in our location whereas drinks are seldom sold, we
would have the advantage of it. We have observed that people especially students tend to
spend a lot of money in snacks but still they are not full causing them to buy more and spend
a lot more money, but in our business, we cater not only our customers taste but also them
spending their money. Our products are not very pricy at the same time it can satisfy the
customer's hunger and thirst for we advocate what our customers want and that is to be
satisfied to the products that they have bought. As a starting business, we have researched a
lot about the products that we are venturing and base from it, the products that we are be
selling has a good reputation in the market for earning a high profit. As per our location, we
know that one of our target customers which is the students, has only limited money, we are
considering about our pricing which is budget friendly so that students can avail them. We
also cater feedbacks from them for us to know what more is to be enhanced in our products.
Using social media would be great in promoting our products, customers can go there to see
the descriptions of it. We also would engage in giving flyers or printed materials to our target
customers for them to be aware what are we selling.
Product Strategies
Since our business decided to be eco-friendly, we do not promote the usage of plastics
in terms of packaging our products. We’ve decided to use instead paper box for rice meals
and paper cup for drinks. Aside from that, we promote an eco-friendly environment; using
plastic materials would cost a lot, adding to financial problems our business might encounter.
Pricing Strategies
Given our planned products, best pricing strategy, we, entrepreneurs plan to execute
that during our first day, we use our normal pricing in every product so when our products
will run out, we have enough capital to buy ingredients for the second day. Students and
Teachers will surely not complain when it comes to the prices of our product because again
and again, we made sure that our products are budget-friendly.
Promotional Strategies
Through social media platforms, together with my co-entrepreneurs, we advertise, post
and tag Spinolanians in order for them to be aware of what products our business will be
selling. This strategy could also benefit whom our friends outside the school premises. They
can also make an order for their bet product however we accommodate this kind of service
when entrepreneurs will be dismissed after their afternoon classes.
E. Location
Our business stall is located in the Quadrangle of Marcelo Spinola School, Inc. at Don
Andres, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. The area is provided by the school as well as the tent
where our products will be displayed. Our stall can be visibly seen as it was located at the
center of the school, thus, this helps our business attract customers easily.
F. Competition
Competition among brand names is inevitable. It's a Free-For-All, if you will. Having
said that, our possible competitors are the different businesses that offer similar products. And
due to this fact, we will ensure better service and higher quality products to counter what they
have to offer.
G. Management and Operations
As we start our business, we are knowledgeable about what are the different roles
need to fill in, in order for us to have a harmony in managing it. Some of the entrepreneurs
have a background in managing the business for some of them has businesses on their own or
their family. The functional areas our business are sales, marketing, customer service, human
resource, research and development, finance, and accounting. The responsible for each area
would be enumerated. In the area of food and customers service Eula Mhel Guanzon, Grapes
Mae Ondaro, John Daniel Marial and Kirby Jhon Opog are the personnels that are in charge.
In the area of food production Hannah Athaliah Herrera, Quenelle Rose Madaje and Alexa
Cataluña are the perons in charge. And in the area of finance, accounting, and sales
marketting, the perons incharge are Vincent Manuel Mercado and Sitti Jamina Awang. The
salaries would be decided after thorough research of what is the target profit of the business
but profits will be distributed fairly. The management resources outside the business that are
available are some of our sources of ingredients and equipments that can help us in being
efficient in our business. Our products will be produced by us, we are the one who will be
making it to ensure the high quality of every product that is to be produced. Some of the
entrepreneurs have the skills to perform the position of making the goods, thus this takes us
into an advantage because the costing of producing and making the products won't be a
problem.
H. Personnel
The accomplishment of businesses also dependent to the personnel especially when
it comes to small business. To serve a good quality of service which can earn and have the

solve any conflict. By that it will become more convenient.
Additionally, the people needed are available since we, entrepreneurs, will personally handle
the accommodation of customers as well as the financing of money and the cooking.
I. FINANCIAL FORECASTS AND EXPECTED RETURNS RISKS AND
CONTINGENCIES
To see the future earnings and potential losses of the business, we must first calculate
the possible capital to be used when buying ingredients and materials; Calculate the financial
risk that may occur in the near future. Considering that the entrepreneurs in the business,
TapsiQuench are still students, they started to save money in a piggybank that each
entrepreneur must down 10 pesos a day.
However, uncertain events still may occur in the process of our business. In this
case, filling the satisfaction of our customers will not be guaranteed given that the prices
nowadays are going high. Still, the entrepreneurs will make sure that they will adapt to
limitation-serving customers the best quality they deserve.
