C. Description of the Business

Manlucahoc is one of the barangay in the city of Sipalay and it’s too far from the
city proper. Since there is need to travel to the proper it’s good to have a school
supplies store that can provide the students, teachers and other people’s needs in
terms of supplies in school and it’s other uses. It also gives an easy access that they
wouldn’t travel just for the supplies they needed. Study Buddy School Supplies Store
will be their friend that will offer a variety of supplies which will be helpful for
everyone.

D. Objective

Study Buddy School Supplies Store will help improve preparedness of the
student body and staff. The purpose of our business is to create, manage and sell
school supplies and novelty items to students, faculty and staff. Since our store is
near to the school our aim is to provide some help both local elementary and high
school students.

E. Mission/Vision

Mission:
Study Buddy School Supplies Store is built to supply the student and teacher
with their proper school supplies and to learn to meet the needs of customers.
Vision:
We the Study Buddy School Supplies Store owners want to satisfy the needs of
the students and teachers in school. It will become the premier source of
environmentally-friendly school supplies. Study Buddy School Supplies Store offers
the best service to all the students and teachers.

Elementary School. It is also close to the high school department and is not far from
where the people live.

calm and safe; we will ensure that our security guards are trustworthy and not
intimidating. We will provide items which are not hazardous to both kids and adults. It
will lower the unemployment population in Manlucahoc location.

There’s a rapid change affecting our business in economic environment such
as interest rates, demand, supply and inflation. The Study Buddy School Supplies
Store will analyze the demands of our customers to increase our profit and to know
the quantity of the items that we will supply. The Study Buddy School Supplies Store
is willing to change how our system works, for us to give our customers better
services than our competitors. We in the Study Buddy School Supplies Store will
raise the prices of our product if needed to, we will only do so after we confirm how
much the people in the city we occupy is able to earn.

the business profit for the reason that the accessibility was disrupted by the weather.

A. PRODUCTION SCHEDULE
The Study Buddy School Supplies Store is always open during weekdays and
weekends because our store is located near the school, though during weekends
there’s no class but still we have to open it because as we see some people are still
buying from our store.
Demand of the Product
 Since our store is located near the school, we all know that the demand of the
product which is the school supplies is getting higher because it is the need of every
student. The “Study Buddy School Supplies Store” can benefit not only for the
students but also to the teacher and the residents to the said place. They can easily
access to our store, in which they don’t have to go to the city. Based on our
research, some of the students go to the city just to buy school supplies. So, we
decided to establish a store wherein we can sell different kinds of school supplies so
that students don’t need to go to the city. Furthermore, as they purchase our product
they will see that our product is affordable with a high quality.
Availability of Resources
The Study Buddy School Supplies Store has its own supplier. If there will be a
shortage of products from our supplier, they have immediately tell us as soon as
possible so that we can find another supplier or we can have reservations from other
suppliers.
Capacity of Business or Place
Study Buddy School Supplies Store can sell as much as 500-600 items of
school supplies a day.

B. PRODUCTION PROCESS
First, the customer of Study Buddy School Supplies Store will get what are
they looking for in the shelves of school supplies, then when they found what they
need about the product, they will go to the counter and pay for what they want to
buy.
In Study Buddy School Supplies Store, the materials required are the
following: shelves, where the products are displayed. Chairs and Tables, where the
customer can occupy and use when needed. And of course the counter table, the
buying and selling occurred.
As soon as they get the product they need, they have to go to the counter and

type air conditioner. The computer can be used for an entire day and the air
conditioner we used is an eco-friendly type and has a special a feature which
provides enough cooling air to prevent the body from extensive cooling.
Model of Machine
The equipment of Study Buddy School Supplies Store used are; ASUS
computer model was updated on March 2, 2020. It has a decent good enough specs
to be used on the daily basis nonstop; KOLIN-KAG-200HRE4 2.0 HP, this air
conditioner is an eco-friendly type and has a special feature which provides enough
cooling air based on the weather. This model of KOLIN has achieved an EER rating
which makes it more energy-efficient compared to other products.
Availability of Spare Parts
Before we purchased our equipment, we at Study Buddy School Supplies
Store have expected the possibility of some minor problems on our equipment. In
order to not cause inconvenience to our customers, we prepared some parts to
change our equipment if needed; for the spare parts of the air conditioner we
prepared an extra fan in case it acts up, anti- bacterial filter to keep the air clean,
panel and remotes in case it breaks, on the computer’s side we bought extra
keyboard, mouse, monitor, pc and avr.
Cost terms of Payment
We pay everything in cash, the machines, spare parts, fuel and the products
to sell.

Proximity to our suppliers

Since our suppliers are also responsible for the quality we deliver, it’s crucial
to work in close collaboration with them. Often, we are also one of our suppliers’
larger clients. Agreeing on how to work together is therefore beneficial to both
parties, as it improves our collaboration today and in the future. In these
collaborations, sustainability is an important topic and is taken into account: in our
policy in the products, materials and services we buy and in the assessment of our
suppliers. Our suppliers located in Bacolod City. The suppliers must deliver our order
to the proper of Sipalay City in order for them to have an easy access and they don’t
have to go to Manlucahoc.
Payment and terms of condition
Study Buddy School Supplies Store purchases their products from their
suppliers through phone calls or email. They pay their order through Cash on
Delivery Payment Collection. The suppliers calculate their rates per shipment based
on packaging weight and size and travel distance.

Discount and Damages

If the order is damaged we know how frustrating it is to receive a damaged
product. If we receive any damage, we immediately report it to our supplier and we
will ask a replacement. Before signing for any delivery, we will ask first that they
would inspect the product we order if it has damage. If our product that we order is
defective and if a product proves to be defective within one year of purchase and
with normal use, we will ask our suppliers to repair or replace the items.
Terms of Shipment
The items which are not available due to being temporarily out of stock when
our parcel was packed will be distributed by our supplier as soon as they available.
When a delivery is not possible within the regular estimated time, due to
unavailability of item, we will contact our supplier to let them know about the delay.

Study Buddy chooses a supplier that meets its standard. This supplier should
possess various kinds of qualities before being appointed to lessen the threats that
Study Buddy might encounter. The supplier should have the capacity to handle the
requirements and how quickly they deliver the products. Commitment to provide
products with high quality. Selecting supplier depends greatly on cost, yet Study
Buddy always keeps in mind the high quality rather than cheap and damage
products. Serving quality products is keeping a good name and reputation to its
customer that Study Buddy is not just an easy access store for various school
supplies, however, it serves honestly to its customer. Communication is very efficient
which our supplier must have the fastest means of communication. The supplier
must have the best connection with the supplier for emergency scenario. Ms.
Canona, the manager, assures that the company will have reliable supplier and shall
have the most excellent performance to its customers.
Purchase Procedures
The internet today makes communication easy, even if we're far from each
other just a click then you can talk to them. We, at Study Buddy make our orders
with the use of internet, it saves us time and we just wait whenever the supplies
ordered are ready to be picked up. Mr. Gareza tags along with the employees
incharge of picking up the supplies from the suppliers plays. We bring a copy of the
order we made and make sure that the supplies ordered are exactly the same as the
order, we do this to make sure our suppliers didn't put a different item or made a
mistake on the quantity of the order. After confirming if it matches the order we
made, we immediately pay our suppliers in cash and take a receipt of the order then
record it as paid on our book. We do this to make sure it doesn't cause any
confusion on both the suppliers and our bookkeeper.
Storage and Inventory Control
Storage and inventory control processes includes the activities related to
holding materials and the processes of counting and transacting the material as it
moved through storage room. Study Buddy School Supplies Store have optimized
storage location and layouts to fit product without the need to restock once received.
Daniella Caneda will be the one to monitor the storage location.
Sales Procedures
Personal selling will remain our most important means of promotion both Ms.
Daniella Cañeda and Ms. Jesyle Villahermosa will lead this effort. Ms. Daniella
Cañeda with her skill and experience in sales and distribution, and Ms. Jesyle
Villahermosa in customer service and relations. Study Buddy School Supplies Store
have a dedicated customer service manager which is Ms. Ayessa Kharylle Canona
or desk in store which is Ms. Lovely Joy Labto to ensure that customer queries are
handled quickly and efficiently. The manager is also responsible for administrative
functions such as payroll and advises on and deals with matters related to
employment law and discipline. In finance concern, forecasting, budgeting, cost
control and reject management plus regular communication with manager together
with Mr. Francis Gareza and Ms. Abegail Roperos to help the manager plan and
administer budgets to ensure cost effectiveness and profitability.

VI. Marketing Plan

A. Product

The Study Buddy School Supplies Store sells different kinds of school supplies to
satisfy the needs of every student and teacher in Manlucahoc and also to the
residence of the said place. We ordered our product from our suppliers. We
purchase it to our supplier that is best seller to meet the demand of our customer.
The Study Buddy School Supplies Store has its best product quality and it’s
affordable to the residence of Manlucahoc especially to the student and teacher.
B. Place

The reason why we chose Manlucahoc as the place of our business is because
we want the people to not use too much of their time waiting for a vehicle to take
them to the city. The students and parents can save the money they would use for
the transportation fare, to add it up in their savings or for the things they need to buy.
There are more than 10 schools near Manlucahoc, we are aware that the
requirements for the students are changing and we intend to give them the school
supplies they need. Yes, they can go to the city and buy it, but the Study Buddy have
the same products on par with the quality and quantity of the city's own stores, as
mentioned earlier it will also save them some money because it's close to the place
they live in. We believe that even though Manlucahoc doesn't have much people
living there, it still has the potential to attract more people to live in that place.
C. Price

Study Buddy School Supplies Store pricing differs to the products quality.
However, we also consider our consumers by giving them low prices of product to
buy yet not declining the quality we offer. We also have sale and seasonal pricing
increase whenever a product is in demand but still it is sold to a price that is pleasing
to the eye of the consumer. Some of our products are costly but consumer can
expect a high quality it offers.
D. Promotion

To promote our business in Manlucahoc which is the location of our business, we

set up the date. A month before the school starts is the best period to promote or
advertise school supplies. This period is a good opportunity to raise our business.
Parents and students can search for the best product at reasonable price on our
store. Most of the parents become choosy on what the kind of purchase should be
made regarding education supplies. We will have to market our store through
education. We will let them be aware of the timings of the store, discounts available
and other happenings in our store. We will put a poster outside our store to attract
the customers to buy our product. The Study Buddy School Supplies Store will
promote business that will utilize public relation. Manlucahoc can greatly contribute
to promote our product and can recommend to the other community.

"People" refers to the people inside the enterprise who are responsible for every

Study Buddy School Supplies Store is a partnership business where in six (6)
person is the owner of the business. Study Buddy School Supplies Store will sell
different kinds of school supplies products because our business is located in
front of the school. The business has one (1) person to manage and the rest are
the one who will take all the risks. We agreed that our capital is ₱1,500,000.00
pesos.

LIABILITY OF THE OWNERS

 Ms. Ayessa Kharylle B. Canona is the one who is the limited partner.
She was the ones who receive limited profits from our business whose
liability towards its debts is legally limited to the extent of her
investment.
 Ms. Abegail S. Roperos, Ms. Daniella Caneda, Ms. Lovely Joy Labto,
and Ms. Jesyle Villahermosa are the unlimited partner. They are the
one who are responsible in paying debts of our business and it may
end up even in the confiscation of their personal assets if the business
cannot pay off their liabilities.
 Mr. Francis Jillian Gareza is the one who is the industrial partner, he is
the one who has the expertise in managing the company and works
hard as an investment instead of money.

 Ms. Ayessa Kharylle Canona will control the activities, business

dealings and other aspects of our business. She will administer all part
of our business.
 Ms. Lovely Joy Labto will handle the cash register and various
locations such as the point of sale in our business.
 Ms. Abegail Roperos will supervise our sales lady and she will guide
them of what should they do in our business.
 Ms. Daniella Caneda and Ms. Jesyle Villahermosa will assist the
customers and they will all the items that we have to sell.
 Mr. Francis Gareza will keep all of the financial affairs of our business.
