February 2019 Newsletter

Hello everyone as we proudly present this issue of 2019. The news this month is as
follows:

AAAWI celebrated its Silver Jubilee Conference on 16th February 2019 at Hotel The
Lalit, Mumbai. There was a Conference in the morning session and Celebration in the
evening.

The Chief Guest of the Conference was H.E. Mr. Royji Noda – Consul General of
Japan to Mumbai, and Special Guest Mr. Shinya Kuwayama – President of AOTS
Japan. The dais was also seated with special invitees like Ms. Tomoko Fuse –
Director ABK Japan. AAAWI also had invited Ms. Midori Ghista wife of Late Mr.
Rusi Ghista – Founder President of AAAWI.

On this occasion a special souvenir of AAAWI was presented to all guests, which
sited the history of AAAWI for last 25 years and messages from its old and new
members.

The Conference was attended by a number of delegates and speakers from companies
like Maruti Suzuki, Panasonic Welding Systems, All Nippon Airways, Mitsubushi,
NYK Logistics, Larsen & Turbo, City of Yokohama Office, professionals from the
Patent Office Mumbai, and other renowned speakers like Mr. Sudhakar Kasture, Mr.
Uday Tardalkar, Dr. Pramod Yeole etc.

The Conference was a grand success with full attendance of audience. All the
speakers were felicitated by senior members of AAAWI by an omiyage.

The evening Celebration was mainly organized for the family of AAAWI members,
who came with full enthusiasm and enjoyed the session. There were special Japanese
games organized for the audience. A film made on AAAWI was also screened for
the audience. We also had dance performance by children of some members.
The Stage was well decorated by one of our Alumni members Mr. Jaideep Kowli’s
company called Argus Communication
