Software Release Engineer at SKS365

The primary aim of this role is to build and deploy code through different stages and environments
including testing and deploying software releases.

• In this position you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of new
production application servers including the setup and configuration of different
environments
• Maintaining and creating new projects in software aimed at a continuous integration and
code distribution
• Versioning and source code control using appropriate management tools and the
development of scripts and automation tools, used to build, integrate, and deploy software
releases to various environments
• Develop build scripts using UNIX / Linux shell scripts or Windows power shell scripts
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time
• Strategize on best practices for ongoing parallel development, featuring branching, merging,
and common library management.
• Weekly Release Reporting including communicating release details and schedules to the
Business as required
• Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners
and vendors, lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the
deployment Plans and checklists.

This is required of you in order to deliver great results

• Bsc. degree in computer programming, computing, information technology, software

development
• At least 2 years of previous release experience and experience in information systems
operations environment in systems analysis or development
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, PowerShell (Python, Bash are a plus),
Git administration, IIS, Team City or similar, Octopus or similar, Agile (Scrum)
• Knowledge of Database administration/management: MSSQL/
• Basic knowledge of the team’s tech stack: .NET Core C#,
• Networking technologies knowledge is a plus
• Experience in a similar role in iGaming and/or in sports betting and solid understanding of
project management principles are considered as a plus
• It is necessary to fluently communicate in English as our broader team is very diverse.
