    Alpha Xi Newsletter
    PRESIDENT’S CORNER
    It was so wonderful to see members in person
    during our September and October meetings! I am
    hopeful that we will continue to meet in person this
    year. This school year has brought about some
    unique challenges, and I know many of our
    teachers are feeling overwhelmed and like they are
    drowning – myself included. It definitely helps
    having a place to share these frustrations with
    others who understand. Teaching is a profession
    that cannot be done alone, and our members are
    the best at helping encourage, support, and
    motivate one another.

    Yearbooks have been sent. They were


    emailed on October 17th and mailed to
    those without email on October 18th.
    Please let Lacy know if you did not
    receive one, or if any further changes We still need hostesses for our March

    Our wonderful treasurer, Laurie Cummings has welcoming back former members. Please be

    thinking of any potential members – invite them
    interested in serving our chapter, please contact
    Laurie or Lacy Cox. It would be beneficial to start to our Chinese Auction! Start talking to them
    working with Laurie now to learn the ropes and about the benefits of membership and how we
    ensure a smooth transition for our chapter. are the best support group around. For more

    or Lacy Cox.

    NEW NAME BADGES

    We are in the process of ordering new name


    badges for our members. They will be less than
    $4.00 each and ordering is optional. If you joined
    our group in 2019 or 2020, we will be ordering you
    a new badge at no cost. Please let Lacy know if
    you are interested in the new badges (pictured
    FUNDRAISERS below).
    We are currently looking at new options for
    fundraisers. Please let us know if you have any
    suggestions.
