Dear students,
I am extremely happy to welcome you to the Berlin School of Business and Innovation
(BSBI). Our institution, although young, has managed, in a short space of time, to
establish itself as one of the highest quality, friendly and international educational
organisations in Europe. Together with our distinguished professors, lecturers, and
members of staff we created a unique academic methodology combining face-to-face,
hybrid and blended education but also theory with practice. This is the most fruitful
mixture that a young person can have in order to embark onto a successful career.
Using this framework, we know how to provide you with the necessary skills so that you
can respond effectively to today’s challenges, but we are also here to equip you with Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis
a variety of extra assets that will add even more value to your studies, such as free Provost &
German lessons, business simulations and contacts within the industry as well as access Chief Academic Officer
to career agencies.

BSBI has campuses and locations in Germany’s capital, Berlin, the start-up capital of
Europe, along with a Faculty of Creative Industries based in Hamburg, an increasingly
popular hub for the creative industries. Furthermore, I am proud to announce from
Autumn 2021, we will be offering a global degree with the opportunity to have an
international multi-campus experience, offering options to study part of your degree in
Athens, Greece, or Paris, France. Finally, BSBI continues to remove barriers to learning
on an international scale for students across the globe, to which we now offer degree
programmes delivered 100% online!

Concordia University
Chicago (CUC)
BSBI is proud to offer two of Concordia-Chicago’s most bespoke degree
programmes, which are taught at our central Berlin campus. The programmes are
delivered using face-to-face sessions ensuring students have extensive personal
contact with professors and their peers. In this way, students have the opportunity
to network and build relationships that will benefit them after graduation as they
establish successful careers.
Concordia-Chicago has a history of academic excellence spanning more than 150
years. By offering prestigious business degrees, Concordia-Chicago has asserted
itself within the global marketplace as a university that emphasises innovation,
agility and business profitability.
This unique opportunity will allow BSBI students to earn a degree from a U.S
institution without having to travel and study in the U.S. In addition, the programmes
offered by Concordia-Chicago are fully accredited by the Higher Learning

Master’s in Business
Administration (MBA)

For aspiring business leaders seeking to advance to a senior position or develop


a global business, the MBA will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills
to make those goals attainable.
Throughout the two-year programme, you’ll develop the leadership skills needed to
drive ethical change within a company whilst learning about core business areas
across 12 modules including Financial Management, Managing Human Capital,
Global Marketing in the Digital Era, and Ethics, Law and Communication in
Decision Making. The MBA also includes specialisation courses in finance,
healthcare management, digital marketing and project management, helping
you to gear your studies towards your career ambitions.
Whilst studying, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your professional network,
learn German and attend field trips and practical workshops. As such, by the time
you graduate you’ll have the skills needed to launch your career in areas including
marketing, leadership and entrepreneurship. Alternatively, if you aspire to start your

MA in Innovation and
Entrepreneurship (MAIE)

Designed for aspiring business leaders, the MA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship


speaks to innovators who want to generate ideas and respond to fast-changing
business environments. The programme will equip you with necessary skills to
identify and manage new business opportunities for organisations or for yourself.
You’ll also consider how to commercialise an idea by working on projects that
reflect real life business scenarios.
Through ten modules including Entrepreneurship for the Global Society, Leaders as
Agents of Change, and Leading Innovation in the Digital Age, you’ll develop your
understanding of how business ideas can be brought to life, helping you to become
a capable and talented leader of the future. BSBI also offers fields trips to help you
develop your skills further.
Whilst studying, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city of Berlin, Europe’s
start-up capital and the home of many multinational companies. You’ll also be able
to take free German language lessons to help you gain a new skill and to prepare
for the global marketplace.

Management

Designed with future business leaders in mind, the BSc programme will enable you
to develop the relevant skills to run a company and encourage you to use your
creativity to resolve complex business problems.
You’ll have the option to choose between the three or four-year International Route
programme. The four-year International Route programme includes a foundation
year which will introduce you to the fundamentals of creative business and
management whilst preparing you for using the English language in academic work.
You’ll study modules including Managing Across Industries, Data Mining for
Marketeers, Creative Innovation, and Understanding Trends and Forecasting.
By the time you graduate, you’ll be able to identify how businesses in the creative
industries work in terms of strategy and operations, understand various business
models as well as assess markets and financial situations to make good decisions.
You’ll also develop the ability to execute projects effectively and manage your own
professional development.

Marketing and Social Media

The rise of social media and digital marketing strategies have allowed many
businesses to excel in building an online presence. Learn how to utilise these
techniques to develop a brand and drive organic traffic to your company website
with the BSc (Hons) Digital Marketing and Social Media.
You’ll have the option to choose between a three or four-year programme. The
four-year International Route programme includes a foundation year which will
introduce you to the fundamentals of creative business and management whilst
preparing you to use the English language in academic work.
By the time you graduate, you’ll have developed an expert knowledge of how
digital marketing and social media work as well as how to analyse complex

Hospitality Management

Whether you have aspirations to run your own hotel or manage a catering
company, the BA (Hons) Tourism and Hospitality Management will equip you with
the skills needed to do so successfully. This programme will help you develop
extensive knowledge of the industry by choosing one of two pathways to help you
steer your career in the right direction: Hospitality and Food and Beverage, and
Tourism and Event Management.
You’ll have the option to choose between the three or four-year International Route
programme. For those looking for an introduction to creative businesses and
management, the four-year International Route programme includes a foundation
year which will help you to develop your core business knowledge and prepare you
to use the English language in academic work.
By the time you graduate, you’ll have an outstanding knowledge of the tourism and
hospitality management industry as well as the ability to manage day-to-day
operations in a business. You’ll also be able to apply the knowledge and
techniques you’ve learned to a range of business scenarios as well as plan and

MBA

As a truly global institution, BSBI is constantly striving to bring new opportunities and
challenges to it students. Our mission is to help you grow in your studies and career
whilst introducing you to the flourishing German business world. Thus, in this course,
you will develop an understanding of essential management topics. Each module
covers the latest trends and techniques, reflecting the changing nature of the global
business environment that you will soon enter and thrive in. You can choose from
a range of electives and adapt your degree to fit your career path. Our pathways
are ideal if you want to succeed as a project manager, HR manager or start your
own business.
You’ll have the opportunity to choose between one of six pathways:
Entrepreneurship, Project Management, HR Management, Marketing Management,
Health Management, and Shipping and Maritime. This will allow you to tailor the
programme to your career goals.
With this programme you will learn to develop a solid understanding of essential

MSc Finance &


Investment

With the MSc Finance & Investment programme, you will develop a range of
advanced skills to help you manage challenges in the finance sector. You will
have the opportunity to improve your knowledge of the area and increase
your confidence.
This 18-month programme is split over four terms. Throughout each term you’ll study
a variety of modules designed to build your knowledge of finance and investment
markets and to teach you how to manage a professional network. Modules include:
Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity, Derivatives and
Alterative Investments. By the time you graduate, you’ll have a sophisticated
knowledge of financial markets as well as the ability to make informed judgements
about business scenario. As such, you’ll be well prepared for a leadership position.
Whilst studying, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city of Berlin, Europe’s
start-up capital and a hub of investment. Our students can also study German giving
them the chance to learn a new skill.

Marketing

The MSc Digital Marketing will teach you about strategic marketing management,
consumer behaviour and cross-cultural management. You’ll learn the latest trends
and techniques in the field of digital marketing helping you to become an adept
business professional, capable of developing campaigns that increase leads, grow
brand awareness and keep customers coming back.
You’ll learn through modules including Strategic Marketing Management, Digital
Marketing Communications, and Cross-cultural Management. By the time you’ve

Event Management

The MA Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management will help you thrive in the
world’s fastest-growing industries, broadening your understanding of the sector and
giving you the skills to work in a globalised business environment.
The 18-month programme is split across four terms with modules including Event
Management, Entrepreneurship in Tourism and Events as well as Business Decision
Making for the Hospitality Industry. The programme will conclude with a dissertation
on a topic of your choice, so you can tailor your research to your career goals. You’ll
also have the option to study German to help you enhance your skillset.
By the time you graduate, you’ll have developed your knowledge of key business
areas and will be able to apply your learnings to real-life scenarios. You’ll also be
able to draft clear communications and articulate your ideas in a professional and

UNINETTUNO
BSBI is excited to be in academic partnership with Università Telematica
Internazionale UNINETTUNO to offer a range of bachelor’s and master’s
programmes delivered at our Berlin Campus and also validated by UNINETTUNO.
Established in 2005, UNINETTUNO delivers both undergraduate and postgraduate
degrees acknowledged throughout the world. As a distance teaching university,
UNINETTUNO cooperates with traditional universities from Europe, the Arab World,
the United States and Asia.
UNINETTUNO is recognised by the Ministry of Education, University and Research
in Italy. Furthermore, it is the only Italian Telematic University that was positively
assessed by the CNVSU, the National Committee established to assess the
university institutions in Italy.

Designed for individuals with aspirations to take on the world of business, the
BA in Economics and Business Administration will teach you the skills, techniques
and knowledge needed to move up the ranks in any organisation. You’ll study
modules including: Banking and Finance, Financial Mathematics and Information
Management, preparing you for a future in a diverse and thriving industry.
Choose between either a three- or four-year programme which is taught using
lectures, seminars, practical groupwork and a range of workshops. The four-year
programme includes a foundation year which will introduce you to subjects such as
marketing and accounting and will help you prepare for using the English language
in your studies.
Offered in partnership with UNINETTUNO, you’ll be able to benefit from BSBI’s
prime Berlin location while also having access to the UNINETTUNO Virtual
Learning Environment (VLE). This will give you the flexibility to fit studying around
your schedule.

Throughout the Global MBA programme, you will build your knowledge of essential
management topics ranging from marketing through to operations and leadership.
In addition, to help you reach your career goals, the programme has four tailored
pathways: Entrepreneurship, Project Management, HR Management and Marketing

Designed for future leaders, the programme will develop your understanding of
the changing nature of the business landscape through a combination of seminars,

areal, which is a 5 min tube ride away from the railway station, Altona. Hamburg

The BSBI Campus is situated in heart of the historical gas works area, Otto von
Bahrenpark. This location has a long-standing historical background and serves as

(IST), one of the largest independent educational institutions in Greece
offering university level education since 1989, recognised by the Greek Ministry
of Education.
IST’s campus is in the heart of Athens, Greece, so benefit from an excellent cam-

IST has recently relocated to downtown Athens making a significant investment in

Pre-enrolment Once you have been accepted, you need to apply for a German student visa as
soon as possible. This means you must:

Upon successful graduation, if you would like to extend your stay in Germany,
you can apply for an 18-month job-seeking residence permit with the Foreigners
Office. This will allow you to work in Germany without any limitations while you

opportunities, a good level of German is essential.

These can access free of charge, helping you to focus on your studying and have
an excellent experience living abroad. Private consultations for students will last 20
minutes, allowing for plenty of time to ask the experts.

The Legal Support service is subject to the Consumer Contracts (Terms and
Conditions). Information on your consultation, obligation, and cancellation with the
firm can be found on our website.

About Expatrio
Expatrio is one of the first companies to provide relocation services in a fully
digital manner. Their services are recognised and approved by the German
Federal Foreign Office.
The company’s vision is to ensure that those who use its services are able to
relocate in a seamless manner. As a result, students can order any of the products
(Blocked Account, Value Package, Health Insurance, Travel Insurance, Health

To help BSBI students with the cost of their programmes, Expatrio is offering two
DeGiS Scholarships per year which will provide the student with €1,200 over a
period of six months. Students will also receive a mentoring weekend in Berlin as
well as access to an alumni network of the most inspiring individuals. These
scholarships will be awarded on academic merit and based on evidence of
positive engagement in school activities. You need to book the full Expatrio
package to qualify for this Scholarship.

As the first digital platform and solution provider for international students
