II. Ngữ pháp
Câu hỏi và câu phủ định ở thì hiện tại đơn giản
a Khi muốn hỏi về nghề nghiệp của người nào đó, chúng ta có thể nói:
What does she do? hoặc What’s her job?
What does he do? hoặc What’s his job?
Khi muốn hỏi ai từ đâu đến, chúng ta có thể nói:
Where does she come from? hoặc Where is she from?
Where does he come from? hoặc Where is he from?
b Trong câu phủ định có chủ ngữ là ngôi thứ 3 số ít( he, she, it) ta thêm
doesn’t (does not) vào trước động từ. Ví dụ:
She doesn't come from the USA.
Còn đối với câu hỏi có chủ ngữ là ngôi thứ 3 số ít, ta đặt trợ từ does lên
trước chủ ngữ. Ví dụ:
Does he come from England?
Where does he come from?

4. Nói
Giả sử bạn được giới thiệu với một người bạn mới tên là Nam. Bạn hãy tập
đặt những câu hỏi tương tự như trên để biết thêm thông tin về bạn Nam
(nơi ở, nghề nghiệp,gia đình,v.v).
5. Nghe và Phát âm
A T3.8 Bạn sẽ nghe những câu nói về Maria và Mark. Sau mỗi câu,bạn
thấy thông tin của câu đúng thì bạn nói “Yes, that’s right”; nếu sai thì bạn
hãy sửa lại cho đúng. Ví dụ:
1 Maria comes from Russia. Yes, that’s right.
2 Maria lives in Vancouver. No,she doesn’t. She lives in
Moscow.

Lưu ý cách nói giờ trong Tiếng Anh
1 Nói giờ đúng( giờ chẵn)
Giờ + o’clock
It’s three o’clock.
It’s eleven o’clock.
2 Nói giờ quá ( giờ hơn)
Phút+ past+ giờ
It’s ten past five.( 5 giờ 10phút)
3 Nói giờ kém
Phút+ to + giờ
It’s ten to four( 4 giờ kém 10 phút)
4 Đối với 15 phút, ta có thể nói a quarter hoặc fifteen
It’s a quarter past five. Hoặc It’s fifteen past five (5 giờ 15 phút)
It’s a quarter to ten. Hoặc It’s fifteen to ten.( 10 giờ kém 15 phút)

My cousin Bianca is a motor mechanic. She works in a busy garage in the
middle of town,about five minutes walk from home. Everyday, she gets up at
5.00 and prepares breakfast for her husband and her children. Then, at 6.00

She usually gets to the garage at 8.00. She works hard during the day. She
likes everything about her job, except for the fact that she has to stay late for
