We invite proposals for presentations, workshops or posters in the following

areas or other related topics:
• Embedding transcultural competence in the curriculum
• Transcultural pedagogy and assessment
• Revisiting assessment tasks
• The language of transcultural education – ELF?
• Raising teacher awareness of transcultural communication
• Translanguaging – use of students’ L1
• Distance/online/transnational education
• Transcultural perspectives on oracy
• Writing across cultures
• Teacher diversity
• Decolonising the curriculum
• Social justice
Presentations: 30 minutes including questions
Workshops: 30 minutes
Posters: displayed, and presented during a dedicated slot
Participation in the conference will be in-person, but a limited number of
presentations may be delivered virtually.
