Parties

This CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT (“Agreement”), dated July 24, 2031, is made by and between Mark M. Walter
of Better Builders Co. (“Contractor”) and Isla A. Fischer (“Client”).

In consideration of the mutual promises and covenants in this Agreement, of which the receipt and su ciency are
hereby acknowledged, the Parties further agree to the terms as follows:

Services Provided

The Contractor agrees to perform and complete the kitchen remodeling project (“Services”) at the Client’s
residence at 402 Pearcy Avenue, South Whitely, Indiana 46787 in a timely, e cient, and professional manner.

Terms and Conditions

TERM
This Agreement shall be effective starting July 24, 2031, and shall continue in full force until its termination
date which is October 24, 2031. This Agreement may be terminated earlier if the Services are completed
before the termination date.

PAYMENT
The Client agrees to pay $40,000.00 to the Contractor. The payment of this amount is dependent on the
changes and/or modi cations to the scope of the project.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
The Client agrees to pay $10,000.00 to the Contractor on the commencement date as a security deposit. The
balance shall be divided into equal parts ($10,000 per month for three months) and shall be deposited to the
Contractor’s bank account every 24th of the month until the termination.
 MATERIALS AND LABOR
The Contractor shall provide the materials and tools that shall be used for the completion of the project. All
materials shall be good quality and new unless the Client approves the use of substitute materials.

INSPECTION
The Client can visit and inspect the project at any time and correct the Contractor if there are defects. If
necessary, the appropriate local agency can inspect the project at each necessary stage.

NONEXCLUSIVE NATURE
This Agreement does not grant the Contractor the exclusive privilege to provide for the Client. Both Parties are
allowed to enter into similar agreements with other clients.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement contains the entire understanding of both Parties and supersedes all prior communication of
the Parties regarding this Agreement, both written or oral.
