O’LEVEL PROGRAMME
O‟ Level is a standard UK qualification usually taken at the age of 15+. O‟ Level provides a
foundation for further study with a wide range of subjects covering the whole curriculum. GACS
students take the O‟ level examination administered by Cambridge Assessment International
Education (CAIE).
OBJECTIVES
 To initiate O‟ Level classes from grade-VIII and by successfully completing the programme at
year -10, bringing it on the same timeline as the local SSC Examination
 To offer career counseling services to the advantage of each student to tap future goals
O’ Level Subjects
In Pakistan, the following subjects are compulsory at GCE O‟ Level: -
1. English 2. Urdu 3. Islamiat 4. Mathematics 5. Pakistan Studies
In addition at least three subjects from any one of the groups below are studied:-

 Chemistry  Accounting
 Biology/Computer Science  Business Studies
 Additional Mathematics  Computer Science
GACS library is well stocked with a wide range of books, periodicals, examination reports and study
materials. The science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science are fully
equipped with all the requisite facilities which are upgraded on continuous basis.
To promote co-curricular activities the students are motivated to join different societies operating
under four houses: Unity, Faith, Discipline and Tolerance. The competitions are initially held at
campus level and the winners are fielded for regional and inter-regional competitions. Elections for
students‟ council are held annually. “The Sunup”, is GACS‟s news bulletin and annual magazine. The
students have „colour/theme day‟ once a month. The canteen offers snacks and stationery.
Academically, our CAIE results for O‟ level are „Second to None‟. The faculty is experienced and
highly competent. We are here to ensure that studying at GACS means getting educated with style and
grace. We facilitate students to Go and Achieve through Challenge, the Success they want. We are
GACS. We look forward to welcoming you.
