MANAGING INNOVATION IN GOOD TIMES AND BAD
This module will teach you how accomplished entrepreneurs and enterprises use a
unique,age-old technique to get more innovative and more creative, during both good
times and bad.

A striking case study will demonstrate how a UK Charity, Save the Children, was able
to solve the complex crisis of widespread malnutrition among children in Vietnam. You
will learn:

• How creativity flourishes under clearly defined constraints

DYNAMICS AND DISRUPTION
This module will help you discover how to transcend the nature of the competitive
environment following the Gorillas, Chimps and Monkeys model. We will look at the
classic example of the Steel Industry to understand and analyse the very common
phenomenon of disruption. Learn how to get the fundamentals of changing the
competitive game with greater probability of success.

• Understand the core concepts behind the phenomenon of disruption


• How can Monkeys (small firms) with fewer resources disrupt Gorillas (large firms)?
• How can Chimps (medium size firms) survive in between the Monkeys and the

as the background to dissect transformation. You will understand how to lead a
revolution in how you do business by asking the following key questions:

• How can businesses use speed as a strategy to get a firm out of a crisis?

ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP: JUMPSTARTING


GROWTH AND CHANGING CULTURE
This module discusses the question on the minds of every leader around the world,
what does the road to recovery look like and how do we achieve it? You will learn from
the case of a 14-year-old software firm – Black Duck that had stagnated in the face of
multiple challenges. You will understand the major shifts and the key steps their new
incoming CEO took after being tasked with jumpstarting growth. You will learn:

• What are the key tasks of a new incoming CEO?


• Who do you listen to? Which executives do you retain? Who do you need to hire?
• What is the right pace of change to set the firm back on a growth trajectory?

ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP:
NAVIGATING IN A CRISIS
Learn critical lessons in entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, teamwork,
communications, and problem-solving at a time of crisis full of risks, uncertainty,
and ambiguity. This modulewill discuss the harrowing case of how 33 miners were
trapped in Chilean mine and the entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, teamwork,
communications and problem-solving that helped rescue them.

• Map the innovation journey of an organisation during a crisis


• Take charge during a time of crisis and bring order to the chaos
