5 The cost of tender specification and EMD shall be remitted by way of Demand Draft drawn in
favour of Pay Officer, TSSPDCL, Hyderabad. The SC and ST category contractors are
exempted from payment of EMD.
6 Along with the application for tender specification Demand Drafts for the cost of schedule shall be
invariably furnished. Only those firms who comply with the following conditions shall apply for
tender schedules: The minimum qualification requirements that the bidder should satisfy for
execution of work are to be indicated in detail in the technical specification. The following are the
qualification requirements.
a) Copy of Firm registration issued by the Registrar of Companies or Copy of contractor’s valid
registration certificate with any TS State or Central Government Departments and undertakings
including registration of TSSPDCL, TSNPDCL, TSTRANSCO or TSGENCO (WORKS).
b) The Bidder should have achieved an annual financial turn over equal to 100% of the value of
the works proposed in the bid specification in any Government organization in any one year
during the last five financial years.
c) The bidder should have executed 100% quantity of similar nature of works (as mentioned in bid
document) in any Government organization to that proposed in the bid specification in any
consecutive 12 months period during last five financial years.
d) The Bidder should produce evidence from its bankers that it has required (50% of the estimated
value of Bid) liquid / credit facilities necessary to perform the contract / solvency) issued not
earlier than 12 months prior to the date of bid opening
e) E.M.D. to be paid by way of Crossed Demand Draft for 2% of bid estimate value drawn in
favour of Pay Officer, TSSPDCL, Hyderabad or BG issued by a Nationalized Banks/Scheduled
Bank in favour of the Pay Officer, TSSPDCL, Hyderabad and shall cover a period over and above
the period of bid validity along with bids.
f) Bids from Joint ventures are not preferred.
g) Self Declaration towards the genuineness of the certificates
