ELICIT (5 minutes) MATERIALS


The students will identify the Three types of solar eclipse PowerPoint Presentation
The teacher will show a picture containing 3 images of solar eclipse. He/She will ask them
to identify the three types of solar eclipse.

ENGAGE (5 minutes)
The students will analyze the picture and answer the question: PowerPoint Presentation

EXPLORE(5 minutes)

Objective: at the end of the activity, students will be able to illustrate the occurrence of See attach activity sheets

Part I. Direction: With the given definition of Lunar Eclipse, illustrate the occurrence
of Lunar eclipse based on the position of sun, moon , earth and the shadows, umbra and
penumbra. Cut the images at the next page and paste it to the box below. Label each
