RESULTS OF PINGKIAN 2022 PRESIDENTIAL AND VICE-

PRESIDENTIAL MOCK ELECTIONS

The presidential and vice-presidential mock elections held by Pingkian for the students of
College of Social Sciences and Humanities from February 17 to March 12, 2022 is a proof of active
political participation of the said students. It was taken part by students from different departments
of the college. Despite the differences in candidate preferences, the students are all united in
becoming active politically and aware of the merits and platforms of their respective candidates.

The primary aim of the mock elections is to promote political awareness to students of
College of Social Sciences and Humanities and equip them with necessary knowledge about the
candidates for the presidency and vice presidency. It also aimed to encourage their active
participation in a major political activity, which is the incoming 2022 presidential elections this
coming May 8.

For the first question from the form it was asked whether the respondents are registered
voters for these coming elections or not. Out of 378 respondents, 353 (93.4%) said YES, while 25
(6.6%) said NO.

For the second question, it was asked from the current list of 10 presidential bets who the
respondents are going to vote for. Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo (IND) got the highest share of
votes from the respondents, which is 216 (57.1%) votes out of 378 total respondents. This is
followed by Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. (PFP) with 110 (29.1%) votes and Panfilo “Ping”
Lacson Sr. (REPORMA) with 17 (4.5%) votes. These are the overall results:

For the third question, it was asked from the current list of 9 vice-presidential bets who the
respondents are going to vote for. Sara “Inday Sara” Duterte-Carpio (Lakas-CMD) got the highest
share of votes from the respondents, which is 199 (52.6%) votes out of 378 total respondents. This
is followed by Francisco Pancratius “Kiko” Pangilinan (LP) with 141 (37.3%) votes and Willie
“Doc Willie” Ong (AKSYON) with 22 (5.8%) votes. These are the overall results:

subject to fraud, bias, and falsification. Any questions related to the results shall be
addressed to us. Pingkian is not endorsing any candidates nor political parties for the
coming elections and so the results of this mock elections is the reflection of the election
preferences of the 223 respondents.
