- It takes a whole level of maturity to be responsible and
accountable with your actions. To achieve inner peace we must discipline ourselves not to be distracted by some factors in our environment, maybe we can at least free ourselves form stressors. Talking to God lessens the burden we felt in our hearts it somehow cleanses our conscience, body, mind and soul. I can suggest that you should go to a peaceful, free from noise place, contemplate, and enjoy the serenity of the place. Read books. It is not also wrong to talk to yourself. Take everything slowly. Don’t be harsh on yourself, give it a break.
2. Discuss the culture of peace according to UN declaration in
1998. (5 points)
- It was emphasize that culture of peace is a set of
values, attitudes, traditions and modes of behaviors and ways of life that reject violence and prevent conflicts by tackling their root causes to solve problems through dialogue and negotiation among individuals, groups and nations. It means that peace can be obtain and maintain through understanding and consensus of each individual in the society we are.
3. Do you agree that there's a need to promote the culture of
peace in our family, and community? How? Discuss your answer. (5 points)
- Peace in whatever angle it may encounter it really
enriches our communities and individual lives, as it directs us to embrace diversity and support one another to the fullest extent possible. In promoting our culture we must possess the sense of being confident and being proud of where we came from and what we are as a person. We should introduce even the slightest in the smallest thing of what our community is made of because this is where the culture came from, from the moment we step in and decide on what we’re going to do culture exist. 4.
