Hi I’m Brianna and I’m Sabrina. Today we will
be discussing the importance of Global
Warming and Climate Change and that all of
the CTE programs have to offer for Nasa and
the future of space exploration
Sabrina: Before the Industrial Revolution,
Earth’s climate changed due to volcanic
activity and solar energy variations. With
humans burning fossil fuels, the number of
greenhouse gases has increased affecting
our climate because it’s warming our
planet. NASA conducts a lot of research and
uses a lot of tools such as computer
models, to track the long-term global
changes happening today. These will
worsen as time goes on, but there are
things we can do to help. Some things are
limiting our use of electricity and reducing,
reusing, and recycling. NASA takes great
pride in climate change by increasing the
use of renewable energy, designing and
operating high-sustainable buildings, and
much more.
Brianna: Global Warming is the long-term
heating of Earth’s climate system due to
human activities. One of the major causes of
Global Warming is using fossil fuels. Using
Fossil Fuels increases heat-trapping
greenhouse gas levels in Earth’s atmosphere.

average increase in Earth’s global surface
temperature. With this problem, more than 1
million species are at risk of extinction
because. global warming. If we don’t stop
Global Warming By 2050, the world could be
uninhabitable.
