At the end of the lesson, pupils are expected to:
a. define dental hygiene;
b. explain the importance of dental care ; and
c. create a model of a teeth using a clay

B. Review
Ask the class about the previous lesson
What they learn about the previous lesson
Ask the pupils if they understand the past lesson
C. Motivation
Introduce the song “Brush your Teeth”
Let the pupils sing the song by following the lyrics
Ask someone from the class to guess the lesson from the song
D. Activities
Divide the class into two groups
Each group will follow the instruction given in the activity sheet
The teacher will check the work of each group
E. Abstraction
Proceed to the lesson about dental hygiene
Ask the pupils about their ideas on dental hygiene
Introduce the definition and importance of dental care
F. Application
The teacher will group the student into two group to create a model of a teeth using
a clay
Each group will prepare their materials in doing this activity
In a ½ crosswise paper the group will write the proper ways in taking care of the
teeth
G. Assessment
Read the statement carefully and identifying if it is True or False.
